Abstract
PURPOSE: To carry out surely purification, by controlling fuel and the secondary air in the exhaust gas system, in every running zone of idling, prescribed load and retardation.
CONSTITUTION: A control valve 7 is installed to the secondary air passage 6 to the exhaust port 2, the negative pressure chamber 18 of the control valve 7 is connected to the position to take downstream side when the throttle valve 21 of the carburetor 20 in the suction air system through the negative pressure passage 19 is at idle opening position, and upstream side when it is more than prescribed opening. Therefore the valve body 14 shuts to contact to the valve seat 10 by a spring 17 when it is more than prescribed pressure. The valve body 13 contacts with the valve seat 10 to shut at the retardation, the valve body 13, 14 leaves from the valve seat 10 to open at idling. An auxiliary fuel supply device 22 of the carburetor 20 stops auxiliary fuel supply through that the piston 24 is pulled upward when the negative pressure in the piston chamber 23 is more than the prescribed value, the valve 25 moves upward, whereby the fuel passage 26 is shut.
