Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the consumption quantity of oil in deceleration by controlling a flow rate adjusting valve in the secondary air feeding passage according to the control output value corresponding to the deviation between the aimed value of the pressure in a suction pipe on the basis of the engine operation state and the actual value and operating a fuel quantity reducing device. CONSTITUTION:A linear type solenoid valve 9 is installed in the secondary air feeding passage 8 which reaches an intake manifold 4 on the downstream side of a throttle valve 3 from the vicinity of the air discharge port of an air cleaner 2, and a fuel-cut solenoid valve 17 as fuel reducing device is installed into a slow series fuel feeding passage 16. When these solenoid valves 9 and 17 are controlled by a control circuit 20, the aimed value of the suction pipe pressure is set according to the engine operation state, and compared with the suction pipe pressure detected by an absolute pressure sensor 10.
