Abstract

PURPOSE: To change air-fuel-ratio into output mixture ratio to elevate power for smooth operation of an engine by supplying additional fuel by use of a power valve of a carbureter in cold operation of an internal combustion engine.
CONSTITUTION: A sensing switch valve 14 is provided at a suitable position in a water passage 2 under a suction manifold 1, which detects temperature of an engine. The switch valve 14 is connected to an operation negative pressure passage 15 affecting a power piston chamber 10, a negative pressure passage 18 running out from an operation negative pressure outlet port 17, supplied in a suction passage in the down stream of a throttle valve 16 of the carbureter 4, and an atmosphere passage 20 from an atmosphere connecting part 19. When the engine does not reach at a specified temperature, the negative pressure passage 18 is cut off to communicae the atmosphere passage 20 with the operation negative pressure passage 15. On the other hand, when the engine rises over a pecified temperature, the atmosphere passage 20 is cut ff to communicae the operation negative passage 15 with the ne gative pressure passage 18
