Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the suction of blow-by gas and perform its disposal in a combustion chamber, by opening into an intake port an auxiliary intake passage, one end of which communicates with a rocker casing.
CONSTITUTION: A main intake passage 11 having a throttle valve 2 communicates with a combustion chamber C through an intake valve 8. A rocker casing 5, which contains a rocker 6 and a cam 7 for driving the intake valve 8, is opened into the main intake passage 11 near the intake valve 8 through an auxiliary intake passage 3. An orifice 13 is provided in the auxiliary intake passage to regulate the quantity of blow-by gas B supplied into the casing 5.
