Abstract

PURPOSE: To effectively atomize injection fuel from a nozzle by providing two air inlet channels in front of an injection nozzle and by opening one channel constantly and closing or opening the other channel responding to the volume of inlet air.
CONSTITUTION: An intake air channel 7 between an air intake valve 2 and a throttle valve 29 is provided with a fuel injection valve 4 placed in the direction of the air intake valve 2. The fuel injection valve 4 is communicated to a first air inlet channel, one end of which is opened to the upper stream side of the throttle valve 29, and second air inlet channel 28, and injects air from an adjacent part to a nozzle 8 to atomize fuel. The first air inlet channel 27 is constantly opened while the second air inlet channel 28 is provided with an air intake valve unit 41 which opens in proportion to the volume of air intake, thereby increasing the volume of air for atomization.
