Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the wrong distribution of fuel and the fall in the output of an engine, by setting the degree of opening of a second throttle valve through a diaphragm which is actuated depending on the average of the negative pressure in a venturi part at the upstream side of a first throttle valve and the positive pressure at the upstream side of the second throttle valve. CONSTITUTION:Negative pressure necessary to actuate the diaphragm 27 is synthesized in a passage connected to a first negative pressure outlet port 32 provided in the narrowest section of the venturi part 23 and to a second negative pressure outlet port 33 provided at the upstream side of a throttle valve 2'. In the slow rotation of the engine with a small quantity of supplied air, only another throttle valve 2 is opened and the speed of flow through the nozzle port 11 of an injector 4 is kept high because the negative pressure in the negative pressure outlet port 32 is too low to actuate the diaphragm 27. As a result, the atomization of fuel is accelerated and the wrong distribution of fuel and the fall in the output of the engine are prevented.
