Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve fuel distribution and atomization by providing a fuel injection valve and a holder which face a suction manifold and by installing two blade shaped throttle valves on the down stream side and by generating a negative pressure in front of the throttle valves, thereby introducing an auxiliary air.
CONSTITUTION: During idling time, a throttle valve is full closed at a position indicated by a solid line, which generates a strong suction negative pressure on the down stream side of the throttle valve 16. Therefore, part of or total intake air is introduced to the front of a nozzle 20 at high speed through an air intake channel 23, thereby turning an injection fuel from a nozzle 4A into fine particles. When the throttle valve is full open at a position indicated by an alternate long and two short dash line during accelerating time, an intake air flows through a venturi member between the two throttle valves at high speed, thereby generating a negative pressure. The generation of negative pressure allows the air to be introduced through the air intake channel 23 and the action of high speed suction air flow turns the fuel into fine particles. With this construction, fuel distribution and atomization can be improved.
