Description
Claims (7)
- 画像信号に応じた複数の色のレーザ光を投射して前記画像信号に応じた画像を表示するレーザ投射表示装置であって、
前記複数の色のレーザ光を発生するレーザ光源と、
該レーザ光源を前記画像信号に応じたレーザ光を発生するよう駆動するレーザ光源駆動部と、
前記レーザ光源が発生したレーザ光を前記画像信号に係る同期信号に応じて走査して投射する走査部と、
前記レーザ光源が発生したレーザ光の光量を検出する光センサと、
前記画像信号を前記光センサが検出したレーザ光の光量に基づき処理して前記レーザ光源駆動部に供給する画像処理部と、
を有し、
前記画像処理部は前記レーザ光源駆動部に対し、前記画像信号の帰線期間において、前記画像信号の表示期間に使用する第1の電流制御範囲とは異なる第2の電流制御範囲の駆動電流にて前記レーザ光源からレーザ光を発生させ、前記光センサで検出したレーザ光の光量に基づいて、前記画像信号を投射表示する際に前記レーザ光源駆動部に供給する前記画像信号を処理する
ことを特徴とするレーザ投射表示装置。 - 請求項1に記載のレーザ投射表示装置において、
該レーザ投射表示装置の周辺の明るさを検出する照度センサを有し、
前記画像処理部は、前記照度センサが検出した明るさに応じて、前記レーザ光源に対する駆動電流を前記第1の電流制御範囲から前記第2の電流制御範囲に変更する
ことを特徴とするレーザ投射表示装置。 - 請求項1に記載のレーザ投射表示装置において、
前記画像処理部は、前記レーザ投射表示装置のユーザの指示に応じて、前記レーザ光源に対する駆動電流を前記第1の電流制御範囲から前記第2の電流制御範囲に変更する
ことを特徴とするレーザ投射表示装置。 - 請求項1に記載のレーザ投射表示装置において、
前記画像処理部は、前記光センサが検出したレーザ光の光量を示す信号の利得を変化させて前記レーザ光の光量が各々の所定値となるよう前記レーザ光源に供給する前記画像信号を処理する
ことを特徴とするレーザ投射表示装置。 - 請求項4に記載のレーザ投射表示装置において、
前記画像処理部における前記利得は前記画像信号の表示期間と帰線期間で異なる
ことを特徴とするレーザ投射表示装置。 - 請求項1に記載のレーザ投射表示装置において、
前記第1の電流制御範囲は周辺が明るい状態で画像を表示するための通常動作の駆動電流であり、
前記第2の電流制御範囲は周辺が暗い状態で画像を表示するための調光動作の駆動電流である
ことを特徴とするレーザ投射表示装置。 - 請求項1に記載のレーザ投射表示装置において、
前記画像処理部は、前記第2の電流制御範囲で表示する際に前記レーザ光源に供給する前記画像信号を設定するために取得したデータをデータテーブルであるLUTに記憶し更新する
ことを特徴とするレーザ投射表示装置。
