Description
自動車のホイールのバランス調整に際し、個々のホイールバランスウエイトは、リムの特定位置に提供される。基本的に2種のバランスウエイトが使用されている。第1の種類は、欧州特許第1613876号明細書に開示されるような、クランプにより取り付けられるバランスウエイトであり、第2の種類は、米国特許第6364421号明細書に開示されるような、自己接着性のテープを用いて固定されるバランスウエイトである。
本発明が解決しようとする課題は、残存物を残さず、しかも複雑な工具を使用せず、ホイールのリムから容易に除去可能な単数又は複数のバランスウエイト及びバランスウエイト帯状体を提供することである。さらにバランスウエイトは、安価かつ単純であることが望ましい。

Claims (11)
- 車両用のバランスウエイト(10)を除去する方法であって、
前記バランスウエイトをリムに取り付ける接着テープを有し、該接着テープは、少なくとも
第1の接着層によりリムの至近に保持されるべき第1のテープ層と、
第2の接着層により前記バランスウエイトの至近に保持される第2のテープ層と、
を有し、
前記第1のテープ層は、前記第2のテープ層より堅固かつ撓みにくく、
前記第2のテープ層は、前記第1のテープ層より柔軟かつ撓みやすく、
前記第1の接着層と前記第2の接着層とは、同じ接着強度を有し、
前記方法は、
第1のテープ層の下にくさび形の工具を押し込むステップと、
前記第1のテープ層を前記第2のテープ層及び前記バランスウエイトとともに前記リムから剥ぎ取るステップと、
前記第1のテープ層、前記第2のテープ層及び前記バランスウエイトを一体的に前記リムから除去するステップと、
を有することを特徴とする、方法。 - 車両用のバランスウエイト(10)を除去する方法であって、
前記バランスウエイトをリムに取り付ける接着テープを有し、該接着テープは、少なくとも
第1の接着層によりリムの至近に保持されるべき第1のテープ層と、
第2の接着層により前記バランスウエイトの至近に保持される第2のテープ層と、
を有し、
前記第1のテープ層は、前記第2のテープ層より堅固かつ撓みにくく、
前記第2のテープ層は、前記第1のテープ層より柔軟かつ撓みやすく、
前記第1の接着層と前記第2の接着層とは、同じ接着強度を有し、
前記方法は、
前記バランスウエイトと第1のテープ層との間にくさび形の工具を押し込むステップと、
第2のテープ層を割裂するか、又は第2のテープ層を前記バランスウエイトから剥ぎ取るステップと、
前記バランスウエイトを前記リムから除去するステップと、
前記第1のテープ層を一体的に除去するステップと、
を有することを特徴とする、方法。 - 前記バランスウエイトを一体的に除去する、請求項2記載の方法。
- 前記バランスウエイト(10)は、連結要素(31)により互いに連結される複数の個々のウエイトセグメント(18)を有する、請求項1から3までのいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 前記第1のテープ層は、フィルムを有し、前記第2のテープ層は、フォームを有する、請求項1から4までのいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 前記第1のテープ層は、ポリエチレンフォームを有する、請求項1から4までのいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 前記第1の接着層と前記第2の接着層とは、同じ材料からなる、請求項1から4までのいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 前記第2のテープ層は、ポリウレタンフォームを有する、請求項1から7までのいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 前記第1のテープ層は、少なくとも1つの可視のマークを有する、請求項1から8までのいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 前記第1の接着層(52)は、透明である、請求項1から9までのいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 前記第2のテープ層は、磁性粒子又は磁石部品を有する、請求項1から10までのいずれか1項記載の方法。
