本発明の第2の前照灯制御装置によれば、一方の前照灯ユニットが選択的に画像を路面に投影するので、投影された2つの画像における境界線が交差するようなことがなく、ユーザは路面に投影された画像を容易に認識することができる。
<第1の実施形態>
1.前照灯制御装置1及び前照灯装置7の構成
前照灯制御装置1及び前照灯装置7の構成を図1に基づき説明する。前照灯制御装置1は、一対の前照灯ユニット3、5を備えた前照灯装置7に対する制御を行う車載装置である。
2.前照灯制御装置1が奏する効果
前照灯制御装置1によれば、路面において、画像103が画像107を包含するので、画像103の内部と外部とを区画する境界線と、画像107の内部と外部とを区画する境界線107Aとが交差することがない。そのため、ユーザは、路面に投影された画像103及び画像107を容易に認識することができる。
<第2の実施形態>
1.前照灯制御装置1及び前照灯装置7の構成
前照灯制御装置1及び前照灯装置7の構成は基本的には前記第1の実施形態と同様であるが、一部において相違する。以下では、相違点を中心に説明する。
2.前照灯制御装置1が奏する効果
前照灯制御装置1によれば、路面において、画像109が画像111を包含するので、画像109の内部と外部とを区画する境界線109Aと、画像111の内部と外部とを区画する境界線111Aとが交差することがない。そのため、ユーザは、路面に投影された画像109及び画像111を容易に認識することができる。
<第3の実施形態>
1.前照灯制御装置1及び前照灯装置7の構成
前照灯制御装置1及び前照灯装置7の構成は基本的には前記第1の実施形態と同様であるが、一部において相違する。以下では、相違点を中心に説明する。
前照灯制御装置1によれば、前照灯ユニット3は画像を投影せず、前照灯ユニット5が選択的に画像113を路面に投影するので、投影された2つの画像における境界線が交差するようなことがなく、ユーザは路面に投影された画像113を容易に認識することができる。
<その他の実施形態>
(1)前記第1の実施形態において、画像107の方が画像103より大きく、画像107が画像103を包含してもよい。
(4)前記第1〜第3の実施形態において、路面に形成する画像は、内側の方が外側より明度が高い画像であってもよい。
Claims (5)
- 光源(9)と、前記光源からの光の光路に設けられ、画像を生成可能な画像生成部(16R、16G、16B)とを備え、前記画像を投影する光(101、105)を路面に照射する前照灯ユニット(3、5)を一対備えた前照灯装置(7)に対する制御を行う前照灯制御装置(1)であって、
一方の前記前照灯ユニットにより前記路面に投影される第1の画像(103)が、他方の前記前照灯ユニットにより前記路面に投影される第2の画像(107)を包含するように、前記画像生成部に前記画像を生成することを特徴とする前照灯制御装置。 - 前記第1の画像は、前記第2の画像と相似する形状を有し、前記第2の画像より大きいことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の前照灯制御装置。
- 前記第1の画像は、前記第2の画像とは異なる形状を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の前照灯制御装置。
- 前記路面に投影された前記第1の画像、及び前記第2の画像の内側は、その外側に比べて明度が低いことを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の前照灯制御装置。
- 光源(9)からの光を路面に照射する前照灯ユニット(3、5)を一対備える前照灯装置(7)に対する制御を行う前照灯制御装置(1)であって、
前記一対の前照灯ユニットのうち、少なくとも一方は、前記光源からの光の光路に画像を生成可能な画像生成部(16R、16G、16B)を備え、前記画像を投影する光を路面に照射可能であり、
前記前照灯制御装置は、前記一対の前記前照灯ユニットのうち、一方の前記前照灯ユニットにおける前記画像生成部に選択的に前記画像を形成し、
前記一方の前記前照灯ユニットにより路面に投影された画像は、前記一対の前記前照灯ユニットのうち、前記一方とは異なる前記前照灯ユニットが路面に照射した光の範囲内にあることを特徴とする前照灯制御装置。
