Description
図1及び図2は、一実施例の光コネクタにおけるコネクタ本体の一例を示す概略図である。具体的には、図1は、コネクタ本体の一例の斜視図であり、図2は、光の伝送方向に沿った側面図である。また、図3は、図1のA−A矢視断面図である。
次に、上記の光コネクタを備える光モジュールの一例について説明する。図6は、一実施例の光コネクタを備える光モジュールの一例を示す図である。

Claims (2)
- コネクタ本体と、
前記コネクタ本体の第1の面の側から内部に向けて刳り抜かれたスリット状の穴であり、且つ、前記穴の幅と略同じ幅を持つシート状の光導波路を収容する収容部と、
前記収容された光導波路の先端部と当接する前記収容部の底面の近傍に設けられ、且つ、前記第1の面に対して垂直な方向に延びる前記コネクタ本体の第2の面と、前記収容部の側面とを貫く、四角柱の形状を採る第1、第2、第3及び第4の貫通孔と、を具備し、
前記第1及び前記第2の貫通孔は、前記収容部の幅方向の一端部に設けられ、
前記第3及び前記第4の貫通孔は、前記収容部の前記幅方向の他端部に設けられ、
前記第1の貫通孔と前記第3の貫通孔とは前記収容部の前記幅方向の中央に対して対称位置に設けられ、
前記第2の貫通孔と前記第4の貫通孔とは前記収容部の前記幅方向の中央に対して対称位置に設けられ、
前記第1の貫通孔の開口と前記第2の貫通孔の開口とは互いに対向し、
前記第3の貫通孔の開口と前記第4の貫通孔の開口とは互いに対向する、
ことを特徴とする光コネクタ。 - 前記第1、第2、第3及び第4の貫通孔の前記開口は、前記収容された光導波路の先端部の一部と対向する、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の光コネクタ。
