Description
Claims (12)
- 排気ガス浄化用フィルタの担体表面にコートされ、
非晶質金属合金粉末を含んでなり、
前記非晶質金属合金粉末は、Fe 50原子%以上、B 10〜30原子%、Y 5〜20原子%、Ti+Pt 0超〜10原子%の割合でFe、B、Y、Ti、及びPtが混合されてなることを特徴とする
酸化触媒。 - 前記非晶質金属合金粉末の粒径は0.1〜10μmであることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の酸化触媒。
- 前記非晶質金属合金粉末の表面粗さは1〜10nmであることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の酸化触媒。
- 排気ガス浄化用フィルタの担体表面にコートされる酸化触媒を製造する方法であって、
金属及び母合金を溶融させる溶融段階;
溶融させた金属及び母合金からなる金属合金を急速冷却させて非晶質金属合金にする急速冷却段階;並びに
前記非晶質金属合金を粉末にする粉末化段階;
を含み、
前記溶融段階では、前記金属及び前記母合金として、Fe、B、Y、Ti、及びPtを、Fe 50原子%以上、B 10〜30原子%、Y 5〜20原子%、Ti+Pt 0超〜10原子%の割合で用いることを特徴とする、
酸化触媒の製造方法。 - 前記急速冷却段階では、100〜1,000,000℃/sの冷却速度で、溶融された前記金属合金を冷却することを特徴とする、請求項4に記載の酸化触媒の製造方法。
- 前記粉末化段階は、真空アトマイザー(vacuum atomizer)または溶融紡糸(melt spinning)後の粉砕工程(pulverization)を含むことを特徴とする、請求項4に記載の酸化触媒の製造方法。
- 前記粉末化段階の後、前記非晶質金属合金の粉末の表面粗さを増加させる段階をさらに含むことを特徴とする、請求項4に記載の酸化触媒の製造方法。
- 前記粉末化段階の後、前記非晶質金属合金の粉末を300〜600℃の温度及び酸素雰囲気で酸化処理する段階をさらに含むことを特徴とする、請求項4に記載の酸化触媒の製造方法。
- 前記酸化処理段階の後、前記非晶質金属合金粉末からなる酸化触媒は、COをCO2に変換させる性能が150℃で95%以上であり、NOとは反応しないことを特徴とする、請求項8に記載の酸化触媒の製造方法。
- 前記酸化処理段階の後、前記非晶質金属合金粉末からなる酸化触媒は、NH3に対する酸化性能が300℃で75%以上であり、NH3に対する酸化時にNO2副産物を産生しないことを特徴とする、請求項8に記載の酸化触媒の製造方法。
- 前記酸化処理段階では、熱処理温度が高くなるほど、前記非晶質金属合金中の鉄(Fe)成分の酸化度が+2であるFeO表面構造から、+3であるFe2O3表面構造に変わることを特徴とする、請求項8に記載の酸化触媒の製造方法。
- 請求項1乃至3のいずれかに記載の酸化触媒;及び
前記酸化触媒が表面にコートされる担体;
を含むことを特徴とする、排気ガス浄化用フィルタ。
