Claims (20)
- コイルを含む共振回路と、
前記共振回路を用いたワイヤレス給電に影響する異物の有無を検出する検出部と
を備え、
前記検出部は、
送電装置から受電装置に前記ワイヤレス給電により電力を供給する第2の期間よりも時間的に前の第1の期間に、前記ワイヤレス給電に用いられるコイルの物理量を用いて異物の有無を判定する方法である第1の検出方法で、前記ワイヤレス給電に影響する異物の有無を判定し、
前記第2の期間に、前記送電装置から送信される電力に対する前記受電装置で受信される電力の割合を表す電力効率、又は前記送電装置と前記受電装置との間の温度によって、異物の有無を判定する方法である第2の検出方法で、異物の有無を判定する
ことにより異物を検出し、
前記第1の検出方法で用いられる前記コイルの物理量は、前記受電装置から送信されるコイルのQ値に関する情報を含む
送電装置。 - 前記検出部は、
前記電力の給電が開始される前に、前記第1の検出方法による、異物の有無の判定を開始し、
前記電力の給電が開始された後に、前記第2の検出方法による、異物の有無の判定を開始する
請求項1に記載の送電装置。 - 前記検出部は、
前記電力の負荷への給電が開始される前に、前記第1の検出方法による、異物の有無の判定を開始し、
前記負荷への給電が開始された後に、前記第2の検出方法による、異物の有無の判定を開始する
請求項2に記載の送電装置。 - 前記検出部は、定期的、又は不定期に繰り返される前記第1の期間に、前記第1の検出方法で、異物の有無を判定する
請求項1に記載の送電装置。 - 前記第1の検出方法は、異物の有無を、前記第2の検出方法よりも高精度に検出する方法である
請求項1に記載の送電装置。 - 前記第2の検出方法は、所定の物理量を測定し、その物理量の測定値を、所定の閾値と比較する閾値処理を行うことにより、異物の有無を判定する方法である
請求項1に記載の送電装置。 - 前記第2の検出方法は、負荷への給電を行っていても、異物の検出が可能な方法である
請求項6に記載の送電装置。 - 前記第2の検出方法は、前記受電装置から送信される前記電力効率に関する情報を用いて、異物の有無を判定する方法である
請求項1に記載の送電装置。 - 異物の検出結果に応じて、前記ワイヤレス給電による電力の送信を制御する送電制御部をさらに備える
請求項1に記載の送電装置。 - コイルを含む共振回路と、
前記共振回路を用いたワイヤレス給電に影響する異物の有無を検出する検出部と
を備える送電装置の送電方法であって、
送電装置から受電装置に前記ワイヤレス給電により電力を供給する第2の期間よりも時間的に前の第1の期間に、前記ワイヤレス給電に用いられるコイルの物理量を用いて異物の有無を判定する方法である第1の検出方法で、前記ワイヤレス給電に影響する異物の有無を判定し、
前記第2の期間に、前記送電装置から送信される電力に対する前記受電装置で受信される電力の割合を表す電力効率、又は前記送電装置と前記受電装置との間の温度によって、異物の有無を判定する方法である第2の検出方法で、異物の有無を判定する
ことにより異物を検出し、
前記第1の検出方法で用いられる前記コイルの物理量は、前記受電装置から送信されるコイルのQ値に関する情報を含む

前記共振回路を用いたワイヤレス給電に影響する異物の有無を検出するための処理を行う処理部と

前記処理部は、
送電装置から受電装置に前記ワイヤレス給電により電力を供給する第2の期間よりも時間的に前の第1の期間に、前記ワイヤレス給電に用いられるコイルの物理量を用いて異物の有無を判定する方法である第1の検出方法で、前記ワイヤレス給電に影響する異物の有無を判定するための第1の判定情報を、前記送電装置に送信し、
前記第2の期間に、前記送電装置から送信される電力に対する前記受電装置で受信される電力の割合を表す電力効率、又は前記送電装置と前記受電装置との間の温度によって、異物の有無を判定する方法である第2の検出方法で、異物の有無を判定するための第2の判定情報を、前記送電装置に送信する
ことにより異物を検出するための処理を行い、
前記第1の検出方法は、前記ワイヤレス給電に用いられるコイルのQ値を用いて、異物の有無を判定する方法を含み、
前記第1の判定情報は、コイルのQ値に関する情報を含む
受電装置。 - 前記処理部は、
前記電力の給電が開始される前に、前記第1の判定情報を、前記送電装置に送信し、
前記電力の給電が開始された後に、前記第2の判定情報を、前記送電装置に送信する
請求項11に記載の受電装置。 - 前記処理部は、
前記電力の負荷への給電が開始される前に、前記第1の判定情報を、前記送電装置に送信し、
前記負荷への給電が開始された後に、前記第2の判定情報を、前記送電装置に送信する
請求項12に記載の受電装置。 - 前記処理部は、定期的、又は不定期に繰り返される前記第1の期間に、前記第1の判定情報を、前記送電装置に送信する
請求項11に記載の受電装置。 - 前記第1の検出方法は、異物の有無を、前記第2の検出方法よりも高精度に検出する方法である
請求項11に記載の受電装置。 - 前記第2の検出方法は、所定の物理量を測定し、その物理量の測定値を、所定の閾値と比較する閾値処理を行うことにより、異物の有無を判定する方法である
請求項11に記載の受電装置。 - 前記第2の検出方法は、負荷への給電を行っていても、異物の検出が可能な方法である
請求項16に記載の受電装置。 - 異物の検出結果に応じて、前記ワイヤレス給電により供給される電力の負荷への給電を制御する給電制御部をさらに備える
請求項11に記載の受電装置。 - コイルを含む共振回路と、
前記共振回路を用いたワイヤレス給電に影響する異物の有無を検出するための処理を行う処理部と
を備える受電装置の受電方法であって、
送電装置から受電装置に前記ワイヤレス給電により電力を供給する第2の期間よりも時間的に前の第1の期間に、前記ワイヤレス給電に用いられるコイルの物理量を用いて異物の有無を判定する方法である第1の検出方法で、前記ワイヤレス給電に影響する異物の有無を判定するための第1の判定情報を、前記送電装置に送信し、
前記第2の期間に、前記送電装置から送信される電力に対する前記受電装置で受信される電力の割合を表す電力効率、又は前記送電装置と前記受電装置との間の温度によって、異物の有無を判定する方法である第2の検出方法で、異物の有無を判定するための第2の判定情報を、前記送電装置に送信する
ことにより異物を検出するための処理を行い、
前記第1の検出方法は、前記ワイヤレス給電に用いられるコイルのQ値を用いて、異物の有無を判定する方法を含み、
前記第1の判定情報は、コイルのQ値に関する情報を含む
受電方法。 - 送電装置から受電装置に電力を送信することでワイヤレス給電を行うワイヤレス給電システムにおいて、

前記受電装置は、
コイルを含む第2の共振回路と、
前記第2の共振回路を用いた前記ワイヤレス給電に影響する異物の有無を検出するための処理を行う処理部と
を備え、
前記処理部は、
前記ワイヤレス給電により前記電力を供給する第2の期間よりも時間的に前の第1の期間に、前記ワイヤレス給電に用いられるコイルの物理量を用いて異物の有無を判定する方法である第1の検出方法で、前記ワイヤレス給電に影響する異物の有無を判定するための第1の判定情報を、前記送電装置に送信し、
前記第2の期間に、前記送電装置から送信される電力に対する前記受電装置で受信される電力の割合を表す電力効率、又は前記送電装置と前記受電装置との間の温度によって、異物の有無を判定する方法である第2の検出方法で、異物の有無を判定するための第2の判定情報を、前記送電装置に送信し、
前記検出部は、
前記第1の期間に、前記受電装置から送信される前記第1の判定情報を用いた前記第1の検出方法で、前記ワイヤレス給電に影響する異物の有無を判定し、
