Description
Claims (13)
- 略管状の本体を備えるステントにおいて、
前記略管状の本体は、
前記ステントの外側表面を画定するように配設された、ポリテトラフルオロエチレン(PTFE)繊維の第1の層と、
前記ステントの内側表面を画定するように配設された、電子紡糸されたPTFE繊維の第2の層と、
前記第1の層と前記第2の層との間に配設された結合層と、
を備え、
前記結合層は、組織の内部成長に対して不浸透性であるように構成され、ポリマー材料を含み、前記結合層の前記ポリマー材料の一部は、PTFE繊維の前記第1の層における繊維開口部の内部に配置されている、ステント。 - PTFEの前記第1の層が、2ミクロンから8ミクロンの間の平均孔サイズを有するPTFEを含む、請求項1に記載のステント。
- PTFEの前記第1の層が、3ミクロンから5ミクロンの間の平均孔サイズを有する、請求項2に記載のステント。
- 堆積されたPTFEの前記第2の層が、8ミクロン以下の平均孔サイズを有する電界紡糸されたPTFEを含む、請求項1に記載のステント。
- 前記結合層が、フッ素化エチレンプロピレン(FEP)を含む、請求項1に記載のステント。
- 堆積されたPTFEの前記第2の層が、堆積されたPTFEの前記第2の層上で組織成長を可能にするように構成されている、請求項1に記載のステント。
- 前記ステント内の前記PTFEすべてが、電界紡糸されたPTFEを含む、請求項1に記載のステント。
- 前記ステントの端部に隣接するカフをさらに備え、前記カフが、前記カフ内への細胞の内部成長を促進するように構成されている、請求項1に記載のステント。
- 患者の管腔内に配設されたときに径方向の圧縮に抵抗するように構成されたスキャフォールディング構造をさらに備える、請求項1に記載のステント。
- ステントを構築する方法であって、
PTFEの第1のチューブを回転マンドレル上に電界紡糸することと、
前記第1のチューブを焼結することと、
組織不浸透性の結合層を前記第1のチューブの周りに施与することと、
電界紡糸されたPTFEの第2のチューブを前記結合層の周りに施与することとを含み、
前記組織不浸透性の結合層は、ポリマー材料を含み、前記組織不浸透性の結合層の前記ポリマー材料の一部は、電界紡糸されたPTFE繊維の前記第2のチューブにおける繊維開口部の内部に配置されている方法。 - PTFEの前記第1および第2のチューブを電界紡糸することが、PTFE分散液と水中に溶解されたPEOとを組み合わせることによって形成された混合物を電界紡糸することを含む、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 管状の本体を備えるステントにおいて、
前記管状の本体は、
ポリテトラフルオロエチレン(PTFE)繊維の第1の層と、
電子紡糸されたPTFE繊維の第2の層と、
前記第1の層と前記第2の層との間に配設された結合層と、
を備え、
前記結合層は、組織の内部成長に対して不浸透性であるように構成され、ポリマー材料を含み、前記結合層の前記ポリマー材料の一部は、PTFE繊維の前記第1の層における繊維開口部の内部に配置され、
前記ステントは、前記ステントの端部に隣接するカフをさらに備え、前記カフが、前記カフ内への細胞の内部成長を促進するように構成されている、ステント。 - 前記ステントの両端部に隣接するカフをさらに備え、前記カフが、前記カフ内への細胞の内部成長を促進するように構成されている、請求項12に記載のステント。
