Description
まず、本発明の実施の形態1に係る直管形LEDランプ1について説明する。なお、本実施の形態に係る直管形LEDランプ1は、従来の直管形蛍光灯に代替する、直管形LEDランプである。また、本実施の形態に係る直管形LEDランプ1は、直管状の筐体が透光部材とヒートシンクとに分離された分割型の構造である。
まず、本発明の実施の形態1に係る直管形LEDランプ1の構成について、図1〜図3を用いて説明する。
透光性カバー20は、ランプ筐体の外面を構成する長尺状のカバー部材であって、基台30に設けられた部材、つまりLEDモジュール10及び点灯回路等を保護している。透光性カバー20は、長尺円筒の一部を長尺方向(管軸方向)に沿って切り欠いて形成された主開口21を有する切り欠き円筒部材、例えば略半円筒形状の部材から構成される。
図1及び図2に示すように、基台30は、LEDモジュール10を保持(支持)するための支持基台であって、透光性カバー20の主開口21を塞ぐようにして透光性カバー20と一体化されている。基台30の透光性カバー20側の内側部分は、LEDモジュール10を載置する板状の載置部31となっている。本実施の形態において、基台30の表面である載置部31の載置面は、長尺状の矩形平面である。
LEDモジュール10は、直管形LEDランプ1の光源であり、透光性カバー20によって覆われる形で、基台30表面の載置部31に固定されている。載置部31への固定方法は、接着剤やネジ等による固定の他、ツメ、スライド、シリコン、リベット、カシメなど、様々である。
図2には、点灯回路70の外観斜視図が図示されている。点灯回路70は、外部電源から入力された交流電力を直流電力に変換して出力するLED点灯回路であって、回路基板71と、回路基板71に実装された所定の回路素子群72とを備える。つまり、点灯回路70は、回路ケース60に収容され、外部電源から供給される電力を所定の直流電力に変換する回路部材である。
図2に示されるように、点灯回路70が収容された回路ケース60は、基台30の長手方向における端部に配置される。回路ケース60の少なくとも一部は、LEDモジュール10とともに、透光性カバー20で覆われる。また、回路ケース60は、上記長尺状筐体の長手方向において、口金40と基台30との間に配置され、一対のネジ43により、口金40及び基台30に固定される。つまり、回路ケース60は、透光性カバー20の長手方向(Y軸方向)における端部に配置され、透光性カバー20に覆われた、LEDモジュール10を点灯させるための点灯回路70を収容するケースである。
口金40は、LEDモジュール10のLED素子に給電するための給電用口金である。口金40は、LEDモジュール10のLED素子を点灯させるための電力を直管形LEDランプ1の外部電源から受電する受電用口金でもある。
次に、本発明の実施の形態2に係る照明装置2について、図7を用いて説明する。
以上、本発明に係るランプ及び照明装置について、実施の形態に基づいて説明したが、本発明は、上記の実施の形態に限定されるものではない。

Claims (6)
- 発光素子と表面に前記発光素子が設けられた基板とを有する発光モジュールと、
前記基板の表面を覆う長尺状の透光性カバーと、
表面に前記発光モジュールが設けられた長尺状の基台と、
前記透光性カバーの長手方向における端部に配置され、前記透光性カバーに覆われた、前記発光モジュールを点灯させるための部材を収容するケースと、
前記透光性カバーの長手方向における端部に設けられた口金とを備え、
前記ケースは、前記発光モジュールから出射した光を前記透光性カバーの外側へ向けて出射させるための、前記基台の表面から傾斜した反射面を、当該ケースの外表面に有し、
前記反射面と前記透光性カバーの内面との前記基台の表面に垂直な方向における距離は、前記透光性カバーの長手方向中央に近づくほど大きく、
前記透光性カバーは、長尺円筒の一部を長尺方向に沿って切り欠いた主開口を有する切り欠き円筒部材であり、
前記基台は、前記主開口を塞ぐように前記透光性カバーを保持する
