Description
以下、本発明による角形二次電池の実施の形態について、図面を参照して説明する。
上記した第1実施の形態では、負極外部端子105と負極接続端子115をレーザー溶接で一体化した構成を例に説明したが、負極外部端子105と負極接続端子115をかしめ固定し、さらにレーザー溶接してもよい。図8にその組立形態を示す。

Claims (6)
- 電極を有する発電要素と、
前記発電要素を収容する缶と、
前記缶の開口を封止する蓋と、
前記蓋に配置される外部端子と、
前記発電要素の各電極にそれぞれ接続される集電板と、
前記蓋を貫通して前記集電板と前記外部端子との間を接続する接続端子を備え、
前記外部端子は、前記蓋に沿って配置される平板形状を有し、互いに異種金属からなる2枚の平板部が幅広面同士でクラッド接合されたクラッド材からなり、該2枚の平板部のうち、前記蓋側に配置される平板部が前記接続端子と同じ金属種であり、
前記接続端子は、前記外部端子の2枚の平板部のうち、前記蓋側に配置される平板部に溶接接合されており、
前記外部端子は、前記蓋側に配置される平板部に凹陥形成された外部端子接続部を有し、
前記接続端子は、前記外部端子接続部に基端が嵌入された状態でレーザー溶接されていることを特徴とする角形二次電池。 - 前記外部端子接続部は、一定径で所定深さを有する円形の凹部を有し、
前記接続端子は、前記蓋に開口する貫通孔に挿通される挿通軸部と、該挿通軸部の基端で拡径されたフランジ部とを有し、
前記外部端子接続部の凹部に前記接続端子のフランジ部が嵌入され、該フランジ部の外周面と前記凹部の内周面との境界部分がレーザー溶接されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の角形二次電池。 - 前記接続端子と前記蓋との間に介在されるガスケットを有し、
前記接続端子と前記蓋の少なくとも一方にシールポイントを形成する凸条部が設けられていることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の角形二次電池。 - 前記2枚の合金部は、アルミニウム合金部と銅合金部であることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の角形二次電池。
- 前記外部端子は、正極外部端子と負極外部端子を有し、
前記接続端子は、正極接続端子と負極接続端子を有し、
前記負極外部端子は、前記アルミニウム合金部と前記銅合金部を有するクラッド材からなり、前記銅合金部が前記蓋側に配置され、
前記負極接続端子は、銅合金からなり、前記負極外部端子の銅合金部に溶接接合されていることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の角形二次電池。 - 前記負極接続端子は、前記負極外部端子の電池缶外部側に位置する露出面にかしめ固定されていることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の角形二次電池。
