Claims (10)
- 車輪を駆動するための走行動力を発生する電動モータと、
前記電動モータに供給するための直流電力を蓄える複数のバッテリを内部のバッテリ空間に収容したバッテリケースと、を備え、
前記複数のバッテリは、前記バッテリケース内で並んで配置され、上下に並ぶ上段部と下段部とを有しており、
前記バッテリケースは、前記バッテリ空間内に冷却媒体を流入させる流入口と、前記複数のバッテリを冷却した冷却媒体を前記バッテリ空間外に流出させる流出口と、を有し、
前記複数のバッテリ同士の間又は前記バッテリと前記バッテリケースの間に形成される隙間空間の所定箇所に、前記流入口から流入した冷却媒体が前記隙間空間を一方通行で流れて前記流出口に向かう冷却通路を規定するシール部材が配置され、
前記冷却通路が、前記隙間空間の一部によって構成されて前記バッテリから熱を奪う前の冷却媒体が前記流入口から流入する上流側隙間空間と、前記隙間空間の一部によって構成されて前記上流側隙間空間から連続し、冷却媒体がバッテリから熱を奪うための中間隙間空間と、前記隙間空間の一部によって構成されて前記中間隙間空間から連続し、前記バッテリから熱を奪った後の冷却媒体を前記流出口へと導くための下流側隙間空間とを含み、
前記上流側隙間空間の一部が、前記バッテリの前記上段部と前記下段部との間に形成され、前記中間隙間空間が、前記上段部から熱を奪うべく前記冷却媒体を前記上流側隙間空間の前記一部から上向きに流す部分と、前記下段部から熱を奪うべく前記冷却媒体を前記上流側隙間空間の前記一部から下向きに流す部分とを含む、電動車両。 - 前記シール部材は、前記上流側隙間空間から前記中間隙間空間を経由せず直接に前記下流側隙間空間に冷却媒体が通過するのを阻止する位置に配置され、
前記中間隙間空間における冷却媒体の流れ方向は、前記上流隙間空間及び前記下流隙間空間の少なくとも一つにおける冷却媒体の流れ方向と平行であり、前記中間隙間空間は、前記上流隙間空間及び前記下流隙間空間の前記少なくとも一つと前記シール部材を介して隣接し、前記シール部材は冷却媒体が前記流れ方向を横切って流れることを阻止するように配置される、請求項1に記載の電動車両。 - 前記流入口は、前記バッテリケースの上部に設けられ、前記冷却通路は、少なくとも1つのバッテリの下部に配置されて前記流入口からの冷却媒体が流入する下部空間を含む、請求項1又は2に記載の電動車両。
- 前記流出口は、前記バッテリケースの上部に設けられ、前記冷却通路は、前記バッテリに隣接して上下方向に延びる上下空間と、前記上下空間を前記流出口に接続して水平方向に延びる水平空間とを含む、請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項に記載の電動車両。
- 前記流出口は、前記バッテリケースの上部に設けられる、請求項1乃至4のいずれか1項に記載の電動車両。
- 車体外の空気に含まれる水分を除去する水分除去部と、
前記水分除去部によって水分が除去された空気を冷却媒体として前記バッテリ空間に導くファンと、を備える、請求項1乃至5のいずれか1項に記載の電動車両。 - 正面視で前記下段部が前記上段部よりも幅方向に狭い、請求項1乃至6のいずれか1項に記載の電動車両。
- 平面視で前記バッテリケースの後部が前部よりも幅方向に狭い、請求項1乃至7のいずれか1項に記載の電動車両。
- 平面視で、前記上段部の面積が前記下段部の面積よりも広い、請求項1乃至8のいずれか1項に記載の電動車両。
- 前記流入口及び前記流出口が前記複数のバッテリよりも上方に配置される、請求項1乃至9のいずれか1項に記載の電動車両。
