Claims (6)
- 燃焼室において燃料を圧縮着火させる内燃機関本体と、上記内燃機関本体に取り付けられて、燃焼室に燃料を噴射する燃料噴射手段と、上記内燃機関本体に取り付けられて、燃焼室に電磁波を放射して電磁波プラズマを生成するプラズマ生成手段と有する内燃機関を制御する内燃機関の制御装置であって、
メイン噴射の前に該メイン噴射よりも少ない噴射量の事前噴射を行うように上記燃料噴射手段を制御すると共に、上記事前噴射の期間に燃焼室のインジェクタ噴孔近傍とシリンダ壁近傍とに電磁波を放射して電磁波プラズマを生成するように上記プラズマ生成手段を制御する制御手段を備え、
上記制御手段は、上記内燃機関本体の運転状態に応じて、シリンダ壁近傍よりインジェクタ噴孔近傍の電磁波のエネルギーが小さくなるよう上記事前噴射の期間に燃焼室に放射される電磁波のエネルギーの大きさを制御することにより、上記メイン噴射の燃料の燃焼に伴う熱発生の状態を制御する
ことを特徴とする内燃機関の制御装置。 - 請求項1において、
上記制御手段は、上記事前噴射の噴射量に応じて該事前噴射の期間に燃焼室に放射される電磁波のエネルギーの大きさを制御することにより、上記メイン噴射の燃料の燃焼に伴う熱発生の立ち上がりタイミングを制御する
ことを特徴とする内燃機関の制御装置。 - 請求項2において、
上記制御手段は、上記メイン噴射に対する上記事前噴射のタイミングを制御することにより、上記メイン噴射の燃料の燃焼に伴う熱発生の立ち上がりタイミングを制御する
ことを特徴とする内燃機関の制御装置。 - 請求項1において、
上記制御手段は、上記事前噴射の噴射量に応じて該事前噴射の期間に燃焼室に放射される電磁波のエネルギーの大きさを制御することにより、上記メイン噴射の燃料の燃焼に伴う熱発生の立ち上がりから立ち下がりまでの期間の長さを制御する
ことを特徴とする内燃機関の制御装置。 - 請求項1又は4において、
上記制御手段は、上記メイン噴射の期間に燃焼室に電磁波を放射して電磁波プラズマを生成する一方、上記メイン噴射の期間に燃焼室に放射される電磁波のエネルギーの大きさを制御することにより、上記メイン噴射の燃料の燃焼に伴う熱発生の立ち上がりから立ち下がりまでの期間の長さを制御する
ことを特徴とする内燃機関の制御装置。 - 請求項1乃至5の何れか1つにおいて、
上記制御手段は、上記内燃機関本体の運転状態に応じて、上記事前噴射の期間に上記プラズマ生成手段が上記電磁波プラズマを生成するタイミングを制御する
ことを特徴とする内燃機関の制御装置。
