Abstract

PURPOSE: To ensure ignition even if air fuel ratio varies much and fuel with bad firing property is used by increasing the number of times of fuel injection per 1 cycle of an engine or carrying out pulsating discharge.
CONSTITUTION: Two times of fuel injections are carried out for one cycle of an engine. The first injection (a) forms an optimum density mixture in a discharging space 8. The second injection (b) provides one for the main combustion and varies with the output relatively. And when the first injection amount is always kept constant, then the air fuel ratio in the discharging space 8 is kept constant so that the firing property is stabilized approximately constant irrespective of the running condition and improved to provide stable combustion.
