Description
本出願は、米国仮出願特許No.61/377,433(出願日、2010年8月26日)の利益を請求するものであり、同文書の内容を参照として本明細書に組み込む。
軟化点が約70〜約105℃で粘度が190℃で約1,900cP未満である非晶質ポリ−α−オレフィン接着剤コポリマーが低塗布温度のホットメルト接着剤の製造で使用できることが明らかとなった。このような接着剤は建築用接着剤としての用途があり、また特に衛生ナプキン、失禁パッド、ベッドパッド、婦人用パッド、パンティーシールド、おむつインサート等の使い捨て吸収性製品の製造に好適である。
本発明は、非晶質ポリ−α−オレフィン接着剤コポリマーを含む接着剤組成物であって、従来のホットメルト接着剤より優れた性質を持ち及び/又は低コストであるものに関する。軟化点が約70〜約105℃で190℃の粘度が約1,900cP未満である非晶質ポリブテンコポリマーが望ましい性質をもち、使い捨て吸収性製品用の低塗布温度ホットメルト接着剤の製造に使用できることが明らかとなった。
Claims (11)
- 軟化点が70〜105℃で粘度が190℃で1,900cP未満である非晶質ポリブテ
ンコポリマーを、接着剤基準で少なくとも45重量%の量で含むホットメルト接着剤であ
って、上記非晶質ポリブテンコポリマーのtanδ値が140℃で30より大きく、該ホ
ットメルト接着剤の粘度が150℃で6,000cP未満であるホットメルト接着剤。 - 上記非晶質ポリブテンコポリマーがさらにプロピレンコモノマーを含む請求項1のホッ
トメルト接着剤。 - 粘着性付与剤をさらに含み、該粘着性付与剤の軟化点が100℃以上である、請求項1
のホットメルト接着剤。 - さらに融点が60℃より高い結晶性ワックスを含む、請求項1のホットメルト接着剤。
- ワックス及び/又は可塑剤を含まない請求項1のホットメルト接着剤。
- 60%を越える量の上記非晶質ポリブテンコポリマーを含む請求項1のホットメルト接
着剤。 - 23℃で引張速度が12in/分(30.48cm/分)での引張ピーク値が55psi(379211.8Pa)より大きい値を有する請求項1のホットメルト接着剤。
- 個人ケア製品、健康製品、医療製品、家庭製品または工業製品である、請求項1の接着
剤を含む製品。 - 150℃以下で請求項1の接着剤を、塗布量が0.1〜20g/m2で溶融吹き付け、
渦巻きパターニング、ランダム吹き付け及び/又はスロット塗布により第一の基材に塗布
し、該接着剤上に第二の基材を適用して結合させる方法であって、基材の少なくとも一つ
が不織フィルムである該方法。 - 粘着性付与剤をさらに含み、該粘着性付与剤が、水素化C5樹脂、石油留分由来の炭化
水素、ポリテルペン、ロジン、水素化ロジンエステル、ロジンエステルおよびこれらの混
合物からなる群から選ばれる請求項1のホットメルト接着剤。 - さらに結晶性ワックスを含み、該結晶性ワックスが、フィッシャートロプシュワックス
、官能化ワックス、ポリエチレンワックス、ポリプロピレンワックスおよびこれらの混合
物からなる群から選ばれる請求項1のホットメルト接着剤。
