Abstract
Un adhesivo termofusible que comprende al menos el 45 %, basado en el adhesivo, de un copolímero de polibuteno amorfo que tiene una temperatura de reblandecimiento de 70 a 105 ºC y una viscosidad inferior a 1.900 mPa(1.900 cP) a 190 ºC, así como un valor de tan (δ) superior a 30 a 140 ºC, y en el que el adhesivo termofusible tiene una viscosidad inferior a 6.000 mPa(6.000 cP) a 150 ºC.

El copolímero útil para la invención tiene una viscosidad inferior a 1.900 mPa(1.900 cP) medida a 190 ºC, intervalos de temperatura de reblandecimiento de anillo y bola de 70 a 105 ºC y valor de tan superior a 30 a 140 ºC. Solo los 5 Copolímeros 1 y 2 cumplen los tres criterios, y los Copolímeros comparativos A-G tienen al menos un criterio fuera de los intervalos útiles.
La Tabla 2 enumera muestras de adhesivo preparadas con el Copolímero 2 con diversos tipos y cantidades de agentes de pegajosidad. El adhesivo y la resina/el agente de pegajosidad, que se enumeran en la Tabla 2, se
10 fundieron entre sí con calor (a una temperatura de o superior a 140 ºC) hasta que se formó una masa fundida homogénea. Se ensayaron las características adhesivas resultantes de las muestras, presentándose los resultados en la Tabla 2.

15 Todas las muestras de adhesivo anteriores tienen viscosidad inferior a 6.000 mPa(6.000 cP) a 150 ºC. Las formulaciones adhesivas comprenden un amplio intervalo de cantidades de copolímero y de resina como se ha demostrado anteriormente, y también pueden comprender predominantemente copolímero.
20 Se prepararon varias muestras de adhesivo con diferente polímero base y se ensayaron frente al adhesivo de la invención para determinar sus propiedades de rendimiento de la Tabla 3. En la Tabla 3, se indican el tipo de polímero base y el contenido. Se mezcló cada muestra con un agente de pegajosidad bajo calor (temperatura superior a 140 ºC) hasta que se formó una masa fundida homogénea. Se midieron las características adhesivas y se presentaron en la Tabla 3. A continuación, se aplicó cada adhesivo entre un sustrato no tejido y un sustrato de
25 polipelícula con un nivel de adición especificado, mostrándose la resistencia al desprendimiento resultante en la Tabla 3.

Para las muestras comparativas X e Y de la Tabla 3, menos del 20 % en peso de la composición total se compone del polímero base. Aunque la muestra comparativa Z (preparada con Copolímero E) también utiliza el 80 % en peso de copolímero de buteno amorfo, esta temperatura de aplicación es superior a la temperatura de aplicación de la Muestra 4 (preparada con Copolímero 2). Además, el uso del Copolímero base 2 en el adhesivo de la Muestra 4 generó la mayor resistencia al desprendimiento.
