M(1)は金属(A)カチオン及び/又は化合物を含む本発明の処理剤
(A)を示す。

上記式においてM(1)は金属(A)のカチオン及び/又は化合物を含む初期剤(1)を表し、M(2)は、金属(A)のカチオン及び/又は化合物を含まないということのみでM(1)と異なる処理剤(2)を表す。

x−(N−R1−N−R2−アミノメチル)−4−ヒドロキシスチレンモノマー単位
を含む水溶性及び/又は水分散性重合体錯化剤であり、この錯化剤において、芳香族環上における置換位置xは、x=2,3,5又は6でありR1は炭素原子数が4以下のアルキル基であり、またR2は一般実験式:H(HOH)mCH2−の置換基を表し、前記式中の、ヒドロキシメチレン基の数mは3以上5以下である。このような錯化性重合体化合物としては、ポリ(5−ビニル−2−ヒドロキシ−N−ベンジル−N−グルカミン)が、その顕著な錯化性により特に好まれている。
i)必要により前記金属の表面を清浄化/グリース除去し、
ii)本発明方法に従って水性処理剤(1)をもって前処理して金属被覆し、
iii)必要によりすすぎ洗い及び/又は乾燥工程を施し、
iv)6価クロム不含有化成処理を施す。但し、この化成処理において、表面積m2当り0.05乃至3.5mmolの金属Mを含む化成被膜層を形成し、前記金属Mは、前記化成溶液の不可欠成分を構成するものであって、前記金属MはCr(III),B,Si,Ti,Zr及びHfから選ばれる。
を含む方法(IIa)に係るものである。
a)ヒドロキシル基含有ポリエーテルとして、ビスフェノール−エピクロロヒドリン重縮合生成物を主成分として含むエポキシ樹脂、
b)ブロックされた脂肪族ポリイソシアネート、
c)ブロックされていない脂肪族ポリイソシアネート、及び
d)ヒドロキシル基含有ポリエステル及びヒドロキシル基含有ポリ(メタ)アクリレートから選ばれた少なくとも1種の反応成分、
を含むものである。
a):b)=1:08乃至1:1.3
及び
c):d)=1:1.4乃至1:2.3
で含有する。
a):d)=1:2乃至1:6(好ましくは1:3乃至1:5)
及び
b):c)=1:0.5乃至1:5(好ましくは1:1乃至1:3)
をなして用いられる。
前記被覆剤(1)は、好ましくは成分a)乃至b)に添加された1種の導電性顔料又は複数種の導電性顔料の混合物を含有する。これらの顔料はカーボンブラック及び黒鉛と同様の、比較的低い密度を有するものであってもよく、或は金属鎖と同様の比較的高い密度を有するものであってもよい。前記被覆剤(1)中の前記導電性顔料の絶対含有率はその密度に依存する。その理由は、導電性顔料の効果は、硬化された被覆層内における導電性顔料の質量含有率の方に、導電性顔料の体積含有率よりも低く依存するということにある。
i)必要により原料材の表面を清浄化/油脂分除去し、
ii)本発明に従う水性処理剤(1)によって、金属被覆前処理し
iii)必要によりすすぎ洗い及び/又は乾燥工程を施し、
iv)クロム(VI)非含有化成処理を施して、表面積m2当り0.01乃至0.7mmolの金属Mを含む化成被膜層を形成し、但し金属Mは、化成処理液の不可欠成分を構成し、この金属MはCr(III),B,Si,Ti,Zr及びHfから選ばれ、
v)必要によりすすぎ洗い及び/又は乾燥工程を施し、
vi)前述の記載事項に従う被覆剤(1)を、被覆し、そして、120乃至260℃との好ましくは150乃至170℃の温度範囲において硬化する。

実施態様
0.15モル/リットル H3PO2
0.033モル/リットル 乳酸
#: Fe(II)はFeSO4・7H2Oを表す
本発明方法(III)を、下記に詳述するように実施する。
(i)電気亜鉛めっきされた鋼板(ZE)を、アルカリ性洗浄剤(Ridoline(商標)C72,Ridoline(商標)B40;本願の出願人による浸漬及びスプレー洗浄製品)を用いて脱脂する。
(ii)金属被覆(鉄被覆)前処理を、50℃の水性媒体温度及び2.5のpH値において、t=2秒間(B1)及びt=5秒間(B2)の接触時間で施す。但し、この場合処理剤(1)は下記の構成を有している。
B1: 27.8g/リットルのFeSO4・7H2O
B2: 13.9g/リットルのFeSO4・7H2O
9.9g/リットルのH3PO2
3.0g/リットルの乳酸
(iii)前記前処理された鋼板を水道水中に浸漬することによってすすぎ洗いする工程。
(iv)主成分としてリン酸、リン酸マンガン、H2TiF6及びアミノメチル−置換ポリビニルフェノール(本願の出願人が3年販のGranodin(商標)1445T)を含む市販の前処理溶液を、ケムコーター(ローラー塗布法)を用いて前記金属表面に塗布する。これに80℃において乾燥を施し、得られたチタン含有被覆層をX−線蛍光分析法により測定したところその含有量は10乃至15mg/m2の間にあった。
(v)前記前処理された鋼板を水道水中に浸漬して、すすぎ洗いする工程。
(vi)ドイツ特許出願DE102007001654D(その実施例1参照)の実施例部に記載された組成に基いて、導電性顔料とに、黒鉛を含む市販の被覆剤(1)を、ケムコーターを用いて、前記前処理された鋼板に塗布し、乾燥器内において、160℃の基材温度に加熱して硬化させる。この被覆剤の塗布によって、1.8μmの厚さを有する乾燥被膜層が得られる。
本発明方法(III)を改変して、実施例B1の工程(ii)、すなわち、金属被覆前処理を省略した。
本発明方法(III)を変更して、実施例B1の工程(ii)の代りに、本出願人の市販製品(Granodine(商標)1303)によるアルカリ性不動態化前処理を、未審査ドイツ特許出願DE19733972(その表1、実施例1参照)に記載されている硝酸鉄(III)を主成分とする組成に従って施した。
実施例B1において、本出願人による市販のアルカリ性洗浄系(Ridoline(商標)1565/Ridosol(商標)1237)を用いて脱脂した後、得られた鋼板を市販活性化処理溶液(Fixodine(商標)9112)中において活性化し、工程(vi)に類似の塗料系により被覆される前に三室構造リン酸塩処理浴中において、本出願人市販のgranodine(商標)958Aを用いて不動態化する。
750ppmZnを含む量のH2ZrF6、
20ppmCuを含む量のCu(NO3)2、
10ppmSiを含む量のSiO2、及び
200ppmZnを含むZn(NO3)2
を含む酸性水性組成物中において、pH値4、接触時間90秒間、温度20℃に於て実施される(図1、方法IIa)。脱イオン水による別のすすぎ洗いの後に、電着被膜剤(CathoGuard500)を層厚さ20μmに塗布し、このようにして被覆された鋼板を、空気循環オーブン中において180℃において30分間硬化処理し、その後に、Clemenによる引っかきテスト用具を使用して、鋼基材の、鋼表面の中央部分に引っかききずをつける。表3は、本実験において測定されたように、VDA気象変更テストによるひっかききず上において得られた腐食値(塗料の真下において測定)を示す。

Claims (14)
- 亜鉛めっき又は亜鉛合金めっきされた鋼材の表面を、金属(A)のカチオン及び/又は化合物を含有する、pH2〜4の水性処理剤(1)に接触させることを含む、亜鉛めっき又は亜鉛合金めっき鋼材表面を金属被覆前処理する方法であって、
(a)鉄(II)イオン及び/又は鉄(II)化合物から選択される、少なくとも0.001Mの濃度の金属(A)のカチオン及び/又は化合物、及び
(b)ホスフィン酸及びその塩類から選ばれた促進剤であって、前記促進剤:前記金属(A)のカチオン及び/又は化合物のモル比が1/5以上であり、そして
所定の処理温度で、かつ所定濃度の金属(A)のカチオン及び/又は化合物を含有する前記水性処理剤(1)中において、前記金属(A)の金属電極で、測定された金属(A)のカチオン及び/又は化合物の酸化還元電位Eredoxが、金属(A)のいかなるカチオン及び/又は化合物も含まない点のみにおいて、前記水性処理剤(1)とは異なる水性処理剤(2)に接触している前記亜鉛めっき又は亜鉛合金めっき鋼材表面の電極電位Eznよりも貴な値を示すことを特徴とする、亜鉛めっき又は亜鉛合金めっき鋼材表面を金属被覆前処理する方法。 - 前記水性処理剤(1)中の前記金属(A)のカチオン及び/又は化合物の酸化還元電位Eredoxが、前記水性処理剤(2)と接触している亜鉛めっき又は亜鉛合金めっきされた鋼材表面の電極電位Eznに対して、少なくとも+50mVだけ、但し、最高+800mVまで、より貴な値を示す、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記金属(A)の、カチオン及び/又は化合物の前記濃度が、少なくとも0.01M、但し、0.2M以下である、請求項1又は2に記載の方法。
- 前記水性処理剤(1)が、さらに、酸素及び/又は窒素配位子を有するキレート性錯体生成剤を含む、請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記キレート性錯体生成剤がトリエタノールアミン、ジエタノールアミン、モノエタノールアミン、モノイソプロパノールアミン、アミノエチルエタノールアミン、1−アミノ−2,3,4,5,6−ペンタヒドロキシヘキサン、N−(ヒドロキシエチル)エチレンジアミン−三酢酸、エチレンジアミン−四酢酸、ジエチレントリアミン−五酢酸、1,2−ジアミノプロパン−四酢酸、1,3−ジアミノプロパン−四酢酸、酒石酸、乳酸、ムチン酸、グルコン酸及び/又はグルコヘプトン酸、並びに前記酸の塩及び立体異性体と、さらにまた、ソルビトール、グルコース及びグルカミン、並びにこれらの立体異性体から選ばれる、請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記キレート性錯体生成剤として、x−(N−R1−N−R2−アミノメチル)−4−ヒドロキシスチレンモノマー単位を含む水溶性及び/又は水分散性ポリマー化合物が用いられ、前記モノマー単位の化学式において、その芳香族環上の置換基位置xは、2,3,5又は6位であり、R1は4個以下の炭素原子を有するアルキル基を表し、R2は一般実験式:H(CHOH)mCH2−の置換基を表し、mは3〜5のヒドロキシメチレン基数を表す、請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記キレート性錯体生成剤:前記金属(A)のカチオン及び/又は化合物のモル比が5:1〜1:5である、請求項5に記載の方法。
- 前記水溶性及び/又は水分散性ポリマー化合物のモノマー単位の濃度として定義された前記キレート性錯体生成剤:前記金属(A)のカチオン及び/又は化合物のモル比が、5:1〜1:5である、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記水性処理剤(1)が、ヒドラジン、ヒドロキシルアミン、ニトログアニジン、N−メチルモルホリンN−オキサイド、グルコヘプトナート、アスコルビン酸及び還元糖から選ばれる促進剤をさらに含む、請求項1乃至8のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記水性処理剤(1)が、50ppm以下で、しかし、0.1ppm以上の銅(II)カチオンをさらに含む、請求項1乃至9のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記亜鉛めっき又は亜鉛合金めっきされた鋼材表面を、前記水性処理剤(1)に、1秒間以上、しかし、30秒間以下接触させる、請求項1乃至10のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記亜鉛めっき又は亜鉛合金めっきされた鋼材表面を、前記水性処理剤(1)に接触させることにより、金属(A)による金属被覆層が、1mg/m2以上、但し100mg/m2以下の被覆層量をもって得られる、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記亜鉛めっき又は亜鉛合金めっき鋼材表面に、中間すすぎ及び/又は乾燥工程を施し、又は施さずに、これを前記水性処理剤(1)に接触させた後、前記金属被覆前処理された亜鉛めっき又は亜鉛合金めっき鋼材表面に、不動態化処理を施す、請求項1乃至12のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 不動態化処理を施した後に、有機塗料層又は塗料複合層の追加の層を塗布するための追加加工工程が施される、請求項13に記載の方法。
