Description
Gcは、アルキル、シクロアルキル、フェニル、ハロ、アルコキシ、およびヒドロキシルからなる群から独立に選ばれる1つまたは2つ以上のRc置換基でさらに置換されていてもよい;
各Aは独立に選ばれるモノイオン基であり;
該モノイオン基は、アルキレン、アルケニレン、アルキニレン、(−CH2−カルボシクリル−CH2−)n、およびポリシロキシルからなる群から選ばれ;アルキレン、アルケニレン、およびアルキニレンは、O、N、S、およびSiからなる群から選ばれる1つまたは2つ以上のヘテロ原子を含んでいてもよい;

少なくとも1種の第1の化学物質と少なくとも1種の第2の化学物質との混合物を準備すること;および、
該混合物を、本明細書で定義される1種または2種以上のポリイオン液体塩(該1種または2種以上のポリイオン液体塩は、該固体支持体上に吸着、吸収または固定化されている)を含む固体支持体に接触させて、該第1の化学物質の少なくとも一部を該固体支持体上に保持すること、を含む。
「カルボシクリル」という用語は、単独で、または他の用語と組み合わされて、3〜14個の炭素環原子(「環原子」は、互いに結合して環状置換基の単環または多環を形成する原子である)を含む、飽和環状(すなわちシクロアルキル)、部分飽和環状(すなわちシクロアルケニル)、または完全不飽和(すなわちアリール)のヒドロカルビル置換基を意味する。カルボシクリルは、環一個の(単環)構造でも多環構造でもよい。
本発明は、一つには、ポリイオン種および少なくとも1つの対イオンを含むポリイオン液体塩を対象とする。
一態様において、ポリイオン種中のモノイオン基は、電荷を持たない中心基に個々に共有結合している。このようなポリイオン液体塩は、中心基ポリイオン液体塩(central group polyionic liquid salt:CGP)と呼ばれる。このポリイオン液体塩は、ポリアニオン性であってもポリカチオン性であってもよい。
いくつかの態様において、ポリイオン液体塩は、安定で、本明細書に記載されている通りの測定では、約200℃以下の温度で実質的に分解も揮発もせず、約100℃以下の固体/液体変態温度、または少なくとも約200℃の液体範囲を有する。
本発明のポリイオン種は、対称か非対称かに分類される。
(A)m中、各Aはモノイオン基であり、mは本発明のポリイオン液体塩中のモノイオン基の数である。したがって、A3は3つのモノイオン基が存在することを意味し、同様に、A5は5つのモノイオン基が存在することを意味する。各Aは、それぞれに見合ってすべてアニオンまたはすべてカチオンである限り、同じものでも異なるものでもよい。
モノイオン基は、ヘテロシクリル、第4級アンモニウム、プロトン化第3級アミン、およびホスホニウムからなる群から選ばれるカチオン基で置換されていて;カチオン基は、アルキル、シクロアルキル、フェニル、ハロ、アルコキシ、およびヒドロキシルからなる群から独立に選ばれる1つまたは2つ以上の置換基で置換されていてもよく;アルキルは、ヒドロキシおよびフェニルからなる群から選ばれる1つまたは2つ以上の置換基で置換されていてもよく;かつ
nは1〜20(両端の数値を含む)から選ばれる。
本発明のポリイオン液体は、特定の環境によってはイオン(+3、−3、+4、−4等)として存在することもあるが、一般に塩である。大抵の例において、各イオンは、各アニオンまたはカチオンごとに1つずつ対イオンを有している。大抵の場合、電荷は保持されている。ポリアニオン液体の場合、カチオンが必要とされ、ポリカチオン液体の場合、アニオンが必要とされる。どのアニオンを用いるかによって、得られる化合物の特性およびその溶媒としての有用性に影響がある場合がある。さらに、アニオンおよびカチオンは、単一の種の使用という状況で記載されるが、カチオンの混合物をポリアニオン種とともに用いて塩を形成し、ポリアニオン液体を形成することができる。この逆がポリカチオンについてもに当てはまる。明瞭にするため、本明細書においては、塩を形成するイオンを対イオンと称する。
式中、X1はC1〜C10アルキレンであり;
X2は水素、アルキル、アルコキシ、アミノ、およびヒドロキシからなる群から選ばれ;
Y1は水素およびアルキルからなる群から選ばれ;かつ
Y2はC1〜C10アルキレンである)。
Gcは、中心基(中心または中心部分とも呼ばれる)であり、置換または非置換で、飽和または不飽和の、直鎖状または分枝状脂肪族基、環状基、または芳香族基を含み、さらに、炭素原子および水素に加えて、またはそれらの代わりに、N、P、As、O、S、およびSi原子を含んでもよい。CGP中の中心基は、荷電(イオン)基ではない。
各Bは架橋基である。
置換基A、Gc、Rc、RA、R1、R2、R3、およびRnの様々な態様を上に考察してきた。これらの置換基の態様を組み合わせて、式(I)〜(V)の種の様々な態様を形成することができる。上に考察した置換基の態様を組み合わせることにより形成される式(I)〜(V)の種のすべての態様は、本発明の範囲内に含まれる。

いくつかの態様において、ポリイオン液体はトリイオン種を含み、GcはCおよびSiからなる群から選ばれる。このような種はC−Gc系またはSi−Gc系トリイオン種と呼ばれる。
いくつかの態様において、ポリイオン液体はトリイオン種を含み、GcはNおよびPからなる群から選ばれる。このような種は、N−Gc系またはP−Gc系トリイオン種と呼ばれる。

本発明は、本発明による1種または2種以上のポリイオン液体を含む溶媒も対象とする。
本発明は、一つには、固体支持体およびこの固体支持体上に吸着、吸収または固定化されている本発明による1種または2種以上のポリイオン液体塩を含む化学的分離または分析のための装置も対象とする。特定の一態様において、本発明の装置は、シリンジ、中空ニードル、プランジャー、およびシリンジに取り付けられている固体支持体を含む。
本発明は、一つには、本発明の1種または2種以上のポリイオン液体塩を分析および分離技術で用いる方法も対象とし、これらの技術には、液体クロマトグラフ測定(LC)、高速液体クロマトグラフ測定(HPLC)、固相抽出(SPE)、固相マイクロ抽出(SPME)、特定課題向けSPME(TSSPME)、および固相マイクロ抽出/MALDIとして知られる質量分析、ならびにイオン交換およびヘッドスペース分析などがあるが、これらに限定されるものではない。
以下の実施例は単に具体例であり、決して本開示を限定するものではない。ポリイオン液体塩の製造は、以下の実施例1〜19に記載されている。
C3対称フェニルおよびイミダゾリウム系トリカチオン液体塩の合成
1,3,5−トリス(ブロモメチル)ベンゼンおよび1−ブチルイミダゾールの1,4−ジオキサン溶液を還流させて、臭化物を有するイオン化合物を得た。Tf2Nのアニオンを有する化合物は、室温イオン液体であり、LiNTf2(リチウムトリフルオロメタンスルホンイミド)水溶液を用いる臭化物のメタセシス反応により合成した。
C3対称フェニルおよびピロリジニウム系トリカチオン液体塩の合成
1,3,5−トリス(ブロモメチル)ベンゼンおよび1‐ブチルピロリジンの1,4−ジオキサン溶液を還流させて、臭化物を有するイオン性化合物を得た。Tf2Nのアニオンを有する化合物は、室温イオン液体であり、LiNTf2(リチウムトリフルオロメタンスルホンイミド)水溶液を用いる臭化物のメタセシス反応により合成した。
シクロヘキサンおよびイミダゾリウム系トリカチオン液体塩の合成
1,3,5−トリス(ブロモメチル)シクロヘキサン中間体を、スキーム3に示すように合成する。次いで、1,3,5−トリス(ブロモメチル)シクロヘキサンおよび1−ブチルイミダゾールの1,4−ジオキサン溶液を還流させて、臭化物を有するイオン化合物を得る。NTf2のアニオンを有する化合物の合成は、LiNTf2を用いる臭化物のメタセシス反応を伴う。
シクロヘキサンおよびピロリジニウム系トリカチオン液体塩の合成
一例として、スキーム4に示すように、1,3,5−トリス(ブロモメチル)シクロヘキサンおよび1−ブチルピロリジンの1,4−ジオキサン溶液を還流させて、臭化物を有するイオン化合物を得る。LiNTf2水溶液を用いる臭化物のメタセシス反応により、NTf2のアニオンを有する化合物を合成する。
中心炭素系トリカチオン液体塩の合成
市販の1,3−ジクロロ−2−(クロロメチル)−2−メチルプロパンおよび1−ブチルイミダゾールの1,4−ジオキサン溶液を還流させて、塩化物を有するイオン化合物を得る。LiNTf2を用いる塩化物のメタセシス反応により、NTf2のアニオンを有する化合物を合成する。
中心炭素系トリカチオン液体塩の合成
1,3−ジクロロ−2−(クロロメチル)−2−メチルプロパンおよび1−ブチルピロリジンの1,4−ジオキサン溶液を還流させて、塩化物を有するイオン化合物を得る。LiNTf2水溶液を用いる塩化物のメタセシス反応により、NTf2のアニオンを有する化合物を合成する。
中心窒素系トリカチオン液体塩の合成
市販のトリス(2−クロロエチル)アミン塩酸塩および1−ブチルイミダゾールの2−プロパノール溶液を還流させて、塩化物を有するイオン化合物を得る。LiNTf2をNaOH水溶液に溶かした溶液を用いる塩化物のメタセシス反応により、NTf2のアニオンを有するトリカチオン化合物を合成する。
中心窒素系トリカチオン液体塩の合成
一例として、スキーム8に示すように、トリス(2−クロロエチル)アミン塩酸塩および1−ブチルピロリジンの2−プロパノール溶液を還流させて、塩化物を有するイオン化合物を得る。LiNTf2をNaOH水溶液に溶かした溶液を用いる塩化物のメタセシス反応により、NTf2のアニオンを有するトリカチオン化合物を合成する。
トリカチオンキラル液体塩の合成。
トリカチオンキラル液体塩の合成
1,3,5−トリス(ブロモメチル)ベンゼンおよび(S)−2−ジメチルアミノ−3−メチル−ブタン−1−オールの1,4−ジオキサン溶液を還流させて、臭化物を有するイオン化合物を得る。次いで、メタセシス反応により、所望のアニオンを有するイオン化合物を合成する。
トリカチオンキラル液体塩の合成
1,3,5−トリス(ブロモメチル)ベンゼンおよび(R,R)−2ジメチルアミノ−1−フェニル−プロパン−1−オールの1,4−ジオキサン溶液を還流させて、臭化物を有するイオン化合物を得る。次いで、メタセシス反応により、所望のアニオンを有するイオン化合物を合成する。
C2対称中心フェニル系液体塩の合成
1,2,3−トリス−ブロモメチル−ベンゼンを、スキーム12に示すように合成する。次いで、実施例1に記載の合成手順と同様の手順により、C2対称三ジェミナル(trigeminal)トリカチオン液体を得る。
非対称中心フェニル系液体塩の合成
1,2,4−トリス−ブロモメチル−ベンゼンを、スキーム13に示すように合成する。次いで、実施例1に記載の合成手順と同様の手順により、非対称三ジェミナルトリカチオン液体6a〜6dを得る。
分枝状四ジェミナル(tetrageminal)テトラカチオン液体塩の合成
スキーム14に示すように、ブチルイミダゾールおよび1,2,4,5−テトラキス(ブロモメチル)ベンゼンの1,4−ジオキサン溶液を還流させて、臭化物を有するテトラカチオン化合物を得る。次いで、メタセシス反応により、所望のアニオンを有するイオン液体化合物を合成する。
アンモニウム系テトラカチオン液体塩の合成
スキーム15に示すように、ハロアルカンと2,5−ジメチルピロールのマンニッヒ塩基との4級化反応により、アンモニウム系テトラカチオン化合物を合成する。次いで、メタセシス反応により、所望のアニオンを有するイオン液体化合物を合成する。
トリアニオン液体塩の合成
スキーム16に示すように、クロロスルホン酸によりトリオール化合物をスルファート化する。次いで、第3級アミンを用いる酸塩基中和反応により、スルファート系トリアニオンイオン液体を得る。
直鎖状三ジェミナルトリカチオン液体塩の合成
スキーム7に示すように、イミダゾールナトリウム塩と(5−ブロモペンチル)−トリメチルアンモニウムブロミドとの反応により、臭化物を有するトリカチオン化合物を得る。次いで、メタセシス反応により、所望のアニオンを有するイオン液体化合物を合成する。
直鎖状非対称三ジェミナルトリカチオン液体塩
スキーム8に示すように、上記の合成手順と同様の手順により、非対称トリカチオン化合物を合成する。
直鎖状四ジェミナルテトラカチオン液体塩の合成
スキーム19に示すように、アルキルジイミダゾールおよび(5−ブロモペンチル)−トリメチルアンモニウムブロミドのイソプロパノール溶液を還流させて、臭化物を有する直鎖状テトラカチオン化合物を得る。次いで、メタセシス反応により、所望のアニオンを有するイオン液体化合物を得る。
アニオン分子検出のためのESI−MSにおける試薬としてのポリカチオン液体塩の使用
トリカチオン試薬:
表1は、本研究で用いた17種のカチオン試薬の構造を示す。
LXQ(Thermo Fisher Scientific San Jose, CA, USA)リニアイオントラップ装置でESI−MS分析を行った。真空脱ガス装置を備えるSurveyor MSポンプ(Thermo Fisher Scientific)により、300μL/min.の担体流(67%MeOH/33%水)を得た。Y型ティー(tee)からトリカチオン試薬を担体流に導入し、本目的のために100μL/min.で作動する島津製作所(Shimazu)製のLCポンプ(6A)を用いた。負モードで分析するため、トリカチオン試薬水溶液を水で置換した。SurveyorMSポンプとY型ティーの間にある6口噴射器の弁から試験アニオンを担体溶液に導入した。フルオロリン酸のための最適化パラメータとともに、正負イオンモードでのESIイオン化条件を、表2に記載する。
11種の2価アニオンを用いて、17種の異なるトリカチオン試薬(表1参照)を評価した。これらのアニオンは、無機型と有機型の両方を含み、様々な構造を持っていた。二クロム酸アニオン、ニトロプルシドアニオン、および六塩化白金酸アニオンのような金属系アニオンが、無機アニオンに含まれていた。これらのアニオンのいくつかは、ジカチオン試薬と対になる1価アニオンの挙動に基づいて選んだ。ジカチオン試薬とよく対を形成するハロゲン原子を有する1価アニオン、および臭素またはフッ素原子を有する非常に典型的な2価アニオン(ブロモコハク酸アニオン、ジブロモコハク酸アニオン、フルオロリン酸アニオン)も、本研究に含まれていた。
17種のトリカチオン試薬を、ESI−MSの正モードにおいて11種の2価アニオンを検出するための対化剤として評価してきた。末端荷電基および核構造を含むトリカチオン試薬の構造的特徴が、2価アニオンの検出限界に影響していた。トリカチオン試薬を正イオンモードにおいて使用すると、負モードにおける試薬の投入量が10倍であっても、負モードで使用する場合よりも、六塩化白金酸アニオンおよびo−ベンゼンジスルホン酸アニオン検出の信号対雑音比が増加した。

Claims (16)
- 構造的に下記の式:
各RAは、水素、アルキル、シクロアルキル、フェニル、ハロ、アルコキシ、及びヒドロキシルからなる群から独立に選ばれ、
zは1〜20(両端の数値を含む)から選ばれる)
に相当するポリイオン種、及び少なくとも1つの対イオンを含んでなるポリイオン液体塩。 - 前記少なくとも1つの対イオンが、Br−、BF4 −、PF6 −、NTf2 −、TfO−、及び次式:
X2は水素、アルキル、アルコキシ、アミノ、及びヒドロキシからなる群から選ばれ;
Y1は水素、及びアルキルからなる群から選ばれ;かつ、
Y2はC1〜C10のアルキレンである)からなる群から選ばれる]
からなる群から選ばれる、請求項1に記載のポリイオン液体塩。 - 少なくとも4つの対イオンを含む、請求項2に記載のポリイオン液体塩。
- 請求項1に記載のポリイオン液体塩の1種または2種以上を含んでなる溶媒。
- 固体支持体、及び、請求項1に記載の1種または2種以上のポリイオン液体塩を含んでなり、該1種または2種以上のポリイオン液体塩が、該固体支持体上に吸着、吸収または固定化されている、化学的分離または分析のための装置。
- 前記固体支持体がクロマトグラフ測定カラム内に充填された、請求項5に記載の装置。
- 前記固体支持体がキャピラリーカラムである、請求項6に記載の装置。
- 内部空間を画定する中空ニードルを有するシリンジをさらに含んでなる請求項5に記載の装置であって、
該ニードルは円筒部の端にあり、プランジャーは該円筒部内にあり、該プランジャーが該円筒部から後退すると該固体支持体が該ニードルの該内部空間に後退し、該プランジャーが該円筒部中に挿入されると該固体支持体が該ニードル内から露出するように、該固体支持体が該シリンジに取り付けられている、装置。 - 前記シリンジがマイクロシリンジである、請求項8に記載の装置。
- 化学物質の混合物から1種の化学物質を分離させる方法であって、
少なくとも1種の第1の化学物質と少なくとも1種の第2の化学物質との混合物を準備すること、
該混合物を、請求項1に記載のポリイオン液体塩を1種または2種以上含む固体支持体に接触させること、ここで、該1種または2種以上のポリイオン性液体塩は、該固体支持体に吸着、吸収または固定化されている、
該第1の化学物質の少なくとも一部を該固体支持体表面に保持すること、
を含んでなる方法。 - 前記固体支持体がカラムであり、前記第1の化学物質の溶離を防ぐかまたは遅らせるように、前記混合物が該カラムを通過する、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記カラムがキャピラリーカラムである、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記固体支持体がカラムであり、前記混合物がガスの移動相によりカラムを通過移動する、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記固体支持体を、内部空間を画定する中空ニードルを有するマイクロシリンジに取り付け、該ニードルを円筒部の一端に配置し、プランジャーを該円筒部内に配置し、該プランジャーが該円筒部から後退すると該固体支持体が該ニードルの該内部空間に後退し、該プランジャーが該円筒部中に挿入されると該固体支持体が該ニードル内から露出するように、該固体支持体を該マイクロシリンジに取り付け、該固体支持体を該ニードル内から前記混合物中に露出させ、その後、該固体支持体を該混合物から該ニードル内に後退させ、前記第1の化学物質の少なくとも一部を該固体支持体表面に保持することを含む、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 請求項1に記載の1種又は2種以上のポリカチオン液体塩を用いることを含む、ESI−MSによるアニオンの検出方法。
- 前記1種または2種以上のポリカチオン液体塩が、フッ化物塩である、請求項15に記載の方法。
