図5(a)の測定点1における測定タイミングは、基準センサー500による第1ビーム200Aaの測定タイミングを示し、測定点2における測定タイミングは、BDセンサー40Aによる第2ビーム200Abの測定タイミングを示す。測定点2における測定タイミングが測定点1における測定タイミングに対してΔt1ずれている場合、BDセンサー40Aが第2ビーム200Abを検知してから所定時間後に光走査装置1’が感光面への画像データの書き込みを開始すると、感光面への画像データの書き込み開始のタイミングが基準に対してΔt1ずれることになる。

Claims (2)
- 光ビームを射出する光源と、
前記射出された前記光ビームを偏向する偏向器と、
少なくとも1つの走査レンズを含み、前記偏向された前記光ビームを被走査面上に結像させる走査光学系と、
前記光ビームを検知する光ビームセンサーと、
前記光ビームを第1ビームと第2ビームとに分割し、前記第1ビームが前記走査レンズのうちの少なくとも1つを透過して前記被走査面に入射し、前記第2ビームが前記光ビームセンサーに入射するように、前記第1ビームと前記第2ビームとを案内する光ビーム案内部材と
を備え、
前記第1ビームによって前記被走査面を走査し、前記被走査面上に画像データを書き込む光走査装置の前記光ビームセンサーの位置を調整する方法であって、
前記被走査面と同じ位置に配置されるとともに、前記第1ビームが入射すべき基準位置に前記第1ビームを検知する基準センサーの取付部を備える治具を準備する準備工程と、
前記治具の前記取付部に前記基準センサーを取り付けるセンサー取付工程と、
前記光ビームセンサーによる前記第2ビームの検知タイミングが前記基準センサーによる前記第1ビームの検知タイミングと一致するように前記光ビームセンサーの位置を調整する調整工程と
を含む、光ビームセンサーの位置調整方法。 - 前記光走査装置が前記光源を複数備えるとともに、前記複数の光源の各々に対して前記光ビームセンサー及び前記ビーム案内部材が設けられており、
前記調整工程において、
複数の前記光ビームセンサーのうちの1つの位置を調整する工程と、
前記1つの光ビームセンサー以外の前記光ビームセンサーによる前記第2ビームの検知タイミングが前記1つの光ビームセンサーによる前記第2ビームの検知タイミングと一致するように前記1つの光ビームセンサー以外の前記光ビームセンサーの位置を調整する工程と
を含む、請求項1に記載の光ビームセンサーの位置調整方法。
