創傷の治癒を促進するさまざまな技術は、吸引を創傷に提供することに関する。例えば、減圧供給源は、創傷滲出物を創傷から搬送する役目をし得る。そうでない場合、創傷は、身体の自然治癒処理を阻止する細菌の住みか(harbor)となり得る。自然治癒処理を促進する1つの技術は、陰圧創傷療法(NPWT)として説明され得る。この技術は、減少された圧力(例えば、大気の常態値以下の圧力)の創傷を覆う限局性レザバーに対する印加に関する。大気の常態値以下の圧力は、血流を範囲に促進する(これは、肉芽組織の形成および健康な組織の創傷を覆う転移を刺激する)ことによって、創傷を閉じる助けをすることが分かっている。この技術は、慢性創傷または非治癒性創傷に対して効果的であることが判明しているが、術後創傷ケアのような他の目的のためにも用いられてきた。
そのため、本開示は創傷療法におけるさらなる発展に関する。一実施形態に従って、滲出する創傷の治癒を促進する装置は、創傷を覆うレザバーを規定するために創傷を覆って位置付けられるカバー層を含む。繊維コアを有する滲出部導管は、創傷から流体を毛管作用によって搬送するレザバーと連絡している複数の繊維を含む。滲出物導管は、カバー層の直近に位置付けられるように適合されている創傷端部と、減圧供給源と流体接続するように適合されている減圧端部とを含み得る。減圧供給源は、滲出物導管の減圧端部と流体連絡し得、減少された圧力をレザバー内に確立するように動作可能であり得る。収集キャニスターは、滲出物導管の減圧端部と流体接続するように適合され得、それによって、減圧供給源は、減圧を収集キャニスターを通して得る。

繊維コアを有する滲出物導管を創傷被覆材に流体接続する工程と、

(項目3)
上記滲出物導管は、上記繊維コアを少なくとも部分的に収容する外側スリーブを含み、上記繊維のうちの少なくともいくつかは、該外側スリーブを越えて延在する、項目2に記載の装置。
(項目4)
上記繊維のうちの少なくとも1つは、疎水性材料を含む、項目1に記載の装置。
(項目5)
上記繊維の外側バンドルは、上記繊維の内側バンドルの周りで、編まれ、織られまたはより合わせられている、項目1に記載の装置。

本開示のNPWTシステムは、減圧供給源への接続に対して適切なフィッティングを有する可撓性ロープロファイル滲出物導管を組み込む。滲出物導管のスリーブは、減圧下で創傷から流体を毛管作用で搬送するためにスリーブの中に配置された繊維の集まりを含む。創傷流体は減圧供給源の方へ引かれ、それによって流体収集容器の働きをするので、スリーブは、また、創傷流体を保持し得る。

- 前記ウィックカバーは、前記カバー層の近くに配置されるように適合された創傷端部と、減圧供給源に流体接続されるように適合された減圧端部とを有し、該創傷端部に隣接している前記細長いウィックの領域内の前記少なくとも1つの添加剤の濃度は、該減圧端部に隣接している該細長いウィック内の該少なくとも1つの添加剤の濃度よりも大きい、請求項10に記載の装置。
- 前記ウィックカバーは、該ウィックカバー上に印を含み、該印は、前記硬質流体ポートからの距離を示す、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記印は、前記ウィックカバー上の罫線を含む、請求項12に記載の装置。
- 前記細長いウィックは、抗菌剤によって処理され、該抗菌剤は、ポリヘキサメチレンビグアニドを含む、請求項1に記載の装置。
