Claims (16)
- 活性部分および非活性部分を備えるデュアルチャンバ血液槽であって、前記非活性部分が、
上領域および底面を有する細長いフィルタと、
前記細長いフィルタの前記上領域のまわりに配置される消泡材と、
前記消泡材を通って下方に延び、円錐形上部、円筒形下部、および介在する中央部を有するパージ漏斗と、
前記パージ漏斗の前記円筒形下部を通って前記細長いフィルタの前記底面に近接する位置まで下方に延びる静脈入口管であって、外側面を備える静脈入口管と、
前記パージ漏斗の前記中央部内に形成された開口部を通って前記細長いフィルタの前記底面に近接する位置まで下方に延びるベント入口管と
を備え、
前記パージ漏斗に入る血液が、前記静脈入口管の前記外側面と、前記パージ漏斗の前記円筒形下部の内面との間を通ることができ、前記パージ漏斗の前記円筒形下部から出る血液が、前記静脈入口管の前記外側面を滑り落ちることができ、追加の血液を必要とする状況において、前記活性部分内の血液が前記非活性部分に入ることを可能にするように解除することができる解除可能な障壁を前記活性部分と前記非活性部分の間にさらに備える、デュアルチャンバ血液槽。 - 前記パージ漏斗の前記中央部が第1の開口部を含み、前記第1の開口部は、前記第1の開口部の内部を貫通する前記ベント入口管を収容するように構成される、請求項1に記載のデュアルチャンバ血液槽。
- 前記細長いフィルタの底部に近接する位置まで下向きに延びる第2のベント入口管をさらに備える、請求項2に記載のデュアルチャンバ血液槽。
- 前記パージ漏斗の前記中央部が、前記第2のベント入口管を収容するように構成される第2の開口部を含み、前記第2の開口部が、前記第1の開口部から約180度間隔をおいて放射状に配置される、請求項3に記載のデュアルチャンバ血液槽。
- 前記パージ漏斗の前記円錐形上部と流体連通する複数のパージポートをさらに備える、請求項1に記載のデュアルチャンバ血液槽。
- 前記活性部分が、吸入血液フィルタと、前記吸入血液フィルタのまわりに配置される消泡材層とを含む吸入血液フィルタ組立体を備える、請求項1に記載のデュアルチャンバ血液槽。
- 前記活性部分から前記非活性部分へ流れる血液の速度を失わせるように配置される多孔質媒体をさらに備える、請求項1に記載のデュアルチャンバ血液槽。
- 下面および上部穴を含むハウジングと、
前記上部穴を跨って延びる蓋部と、
前記蓋部を通って延びる第1のベントポートと、
前記蓋部を通って延びる第2のベントポートと、
前記蓋部を通って延びる静脈ポートと、
前記蓋部を通って延びるパージポートと、
上部、下部、および介在する中央部を有するパージ漏斗であって、前記パージ漏斗の前記上部が、前記パージポートと流体連通する、パージ漏斗と、
前記第1のベントポートと流体連通し、前記パージ漏斗の前記下部の外部に前記ハウジングの前記下面の近くの位置まで延びる第1のベント管と、
前記第2のベントポートと流体連通し、前記パージ漏斗の前記下部の外部に前記ハウジングの前記下面の近くの位置まで延びる第2のベント管と、
前記静脈ポートと流体連通し、前記パージ漏斗内で前記ハウジングの前記下面の近くの位置まで延びる静脈管と
を備えるデュアルチャンバ血液槽。 - 前記第1のベント管が、前記パージ漏斗の前記上部内で下方に延び、前記パージ漏斗の前記中央部に形成される第1の開口部を通って前記パージ漏斗の外側へ延びる、請求項8に記載のデュアルチャンバ血液槽。
- 前記第2のベント管が、前記パージ漏斗の前記上部内で下方に延び、前記パージ漏斗の前記中央部に形成される第2の開口部を通って前記パージ漏斗の外側へ延びる、請求項8に記載のデュアルチャンバ血液槽。
- 前記ハウジング内に配置される細長いフィルタをさらに備え、前記ベント管および前記静脈管が、前記細長いフィルタを通って下方に延びるようになっている、請求項8に記載のデュアルチャンバ血液槽。
- 前記細長いフィルタが、前記ハウジングの前記下面の近くまで延びる、請求項11に記載のデュアルチャンバ血液槽。
- 前記蓋部を貫通し、前記パージ漏斗の前記上部と流体連通する複数のパージポートをさらに備える、請求項8に記載のデュアルチャンバ血液槽。
- 頂部、底部、静脈入口、ベント入口、およびパージ入口を有するハウジングと、
前記ハウジングの前記頂部の近くから前記ハウジングの前記底部の近くまで延びるフィルタリング組立体と
を備える血液槽であって、前記フィルタリング組立体が、
支持構造、

前記フィルタ膜のまわりに配置される消泡材、
前記フィルタ膜内で下方に延び、前記パージ入口と流体連通するパージ漏斗、
前記静脈入口と流体連通し、前記パージ漏斗の内部を通って前記フィルタリング組立体の底面の近くの位置まで延びる静脈管、および
前記ベント入口と流体連通し、前記パージ漏斗の内部を通って部分的に延び、前記パージ漏斗の外側へ前記フィルタリング組立体の底面の近くの位置まで部分的に延びるベント管
を含む、血液槽。 - 前記静脈管および前記ベント管が、前記フィルタ膜の内部空間内で下方に延びる、請求項14に記載の血液槽。
- 前記パージ入口が、複数のパージポートを含む、請求項14に記載の血液槽。
