[2]前記状態を決定することは、前記応答が閾値および大きいかどうか決定することを具備する、請求項1の方法。
[3]前記検出は、前記電極上に発生される電圧を検出することを具備する、請求項1の方法。
[4]前記微小電気機械装置は、干渉ディスプレイピクセルのアレイを具備するディスプレイ内に含まれるまたは隣接する、請求項1の方法。

前記装置に接続された少なくとも1つの電極に少なくとも2つの異なる電位を印加する手段;
前記少なくとも2つの異なる電位において前記装置の少なくとも1つの電気的応答を検出する手段;
前記応答に少なくとも一部分基づいて、前記少なくとも2つの異なる電位において前記装置の状態を決定する手段;
前記決定に少なくとも一部基づいて前記アクチュエーション電圧およびリリース電圧の一方または両方を決定する手段。
[12]前記印加手段は、駆動回路を具備する、請求項11のシステム。

前記微小電気機械装置に接続され、前記少なくとも2つの異なる電位において、前記微小電気機械装置の少なくとも1つの電気的応答を検出するように構成され、さらに前記応答に少なくとも一部基づいて、前記少なくとも2つの異なる電位において前記装置の状態を決定するように構成され、前記決定に少なくとも一部基づいて前記アクチュエーション電圧およびリリース電圧の一方または両方を決定するセンサー。

前記微小電気機械システムと電気通信するプロセッサー、前記プロセッサーは、画像データを処理するように構成される;および
前記プロセッサーと電気通信するメモリ。
[21]前記画像データの少なくとも一部を前記駆動回路に送信するように構成されたコントローラーをさらに具備する、請求項20のシステム。
[22]前記画像データを前記プロセッサーに送信するように構成された画像ソースモジュールをさらに具備する、請求項20のシステム。

センサーを前記微小電気機械装置に接続する、前記センサーは、前記少なくとも2つの異なる電位において前記微小電気機械装置の少なくとも1つの電気的応答を検出するように構成され、さらに、前記応答に少なくとも一部基づいて前記少なくとも2つの異なる電位において前記装置の状態を決定するようにさらに構成され、前記決定することに少なくとも一部基づいて前記アクチュエーション電圧およびリリース電圧の一方または両方を決定する。

Claims (11)
- 各々が可動反射層を備える微小電気機械素子のアレイと、
前記微小電気機械素子の各々をアクティブにするタイミング制御回路と、
1つまたは複数のテスト電圧を印加するように構成されたドライブ回路と、
前記微小電気機械素子の少なくとも1つが、前記テスト電圧のうちの1つに対する前記少なくとも1つの微小電気機械素子の電気的応答の電圧が閾値を越える場合に弛緩状態にあり、前記電圧が前記閾値を越えない場合に変形状態にあることを検知するように構成された検知回路と、
を具備し、
前記変形状態は、可動反射層が固定反射層から第1の距離の位置であり、前記弛緩状態は、前記可動反射層が前記固定反射層から第2の距離の位置であり、前記可動反射層は前記位置のいずれか一方で入射光を反射し、前記第2の距離は、前記第1の距離よりも大きい、
微小電気機械システム。 - 前記タイミング制御回路および前記検知回路は抵抗素子および容量性素子からなる並列回路を含む、請求項1の微小電気機械システム。
- 前記検知回路は、1つまたは複数の受動フィードバックコンポーネントを有した積分器を具備する、請求項1の微小電気機械システム。
- 前記タイミング制御回路と前記検知回路は集積回路内に具現化される、請求項1の微小電気機械システム。
- 前記検知回路は、前記状態が前記変形状態から前記弛緩状態に遷移するときに前記ドライブ回路によって印加された第1のテスト電圧がリリース電圧であることを決定し、前記状態が前記弛緩状態から前記変形状態に遷移するときに前記ドライブ回路によって印加された第2のテスト電圧がアクチュエーション電圧であることを決定するようにさらに構成される、請求項1の微小電気機械システム。
- 前記可動反射層は、反射位置および非反射位置に位置することができる、請求項1の微小電気機械システム。
- 各々が可動反射層を備える微小電気機械素子と前記微小電気機械素子の各々を制御するタイミング制御回路のアレイのドライブ電圧を変更するためのピクセル状態検知の方法において、

前記所定量の時間、前記微小電気機械素子をチャージするために第2のテスト電圧を印加することと、
前記第2のテスト電圧に対する前記微小電気機械素子の電圧が前記閾値を越えない場合、前記微小電気機械素子の変形状態を検知することと、
どのテスト電圧で、前記微小電気機械素子が前記弛緩状態と前記変形状態との間で遷移するかに基づいて前記ドライブ電圧を変更することと、
を具備し、
前記変形状態は、可動反射層が固定反射層から第1の距離の位置であり、前記弛緩状態は、前記可動反射層が前記固定反射層から第2の距離の位置であり、前記可動反射層は前記位置のいずれか一方で入射光を反射し、前記第2の距離は、前記第1の距離よりも大きい、方法。 - 各々が可動反射層を備える微小電気機械素子と前記微小電気機械素子の各々を制御するためのタイミング制御回路のアレイに関するドライブ電圧をキャリブレートする微小電気機械システムにおいて、

前記第2のテスト電圧への前記微小電気機械素子の電圧が前記閾値を越えない場合、前記微小電気機械素子の変形状態を検知する手段と、
どのテスト電圧で、前記微小電気機械素子が前記弛緩状態と前記変形状態との間で遷移するかに基づいて前記ドライブ電圧を変更する手段と、
を具備し、
前記変形状態は、可動反射層が固定反射層から第1の距離の位置であり、前記弛緩状態は、前記可動反射層が前記固定反射層から第2の距離の位置であり、前記可動反射層は前記位置のいずれか一方で入射光を反射し、前記第2の距離は、前記第1の距離よりも大きい、微小電気機械システム。 - 前記リリース電圧の前記微小電気機械素子への印加は、前記微小電気機械素子の、可動および固定反射層の間の距離を低減する、請求項5の微小電気機械システム。
- アクチュエーション電圧の前記微小電気機械素子への印加は、前記微小電気機械素子の、可動および固定反射層の間の前記距離を増加させる、請求項8の微小電気機械システム。
