Description
図1は、10ミルPCサンプルの両面上に被覆された、本発明の実施形態におけるダイヤモンド様炭素の図解であり、このダイヤモンド様炭素はPCサンプルの各面上にて120nmのコーティング厚を有する。図1Aは、本発明の実施形態の透明および粘着性ダイヤモンド様炭素コーティング(130)の領域を備えたプラスチックフィルム(120)を示す拡大図であり、プラスチックフィルム(120)は1枚の紙上のテキスト(110)に重ねて示されている。図1Bは、プラスチックフィルム(120)上のダイヤモンド様炭素コーティング(130)の領域の下のテキスト(110A)の一部が透明ダイヤモンド様炭素コーティング(130)を通じて見えることを示す、フィルム(120)を通じた図1Aの上面図を示す。

Claims (9)
- 熱可塑性材料の1つ以上の表面に、粘着性ダイヤモンド様炭素コーティング又はドープ処理されたダイヤモンド様炭素コーティングを適用することを含む基板キャリアを製造する方法であって、該方法は、
複数の基板キャリアの各々について、熱可塑性材料の1つ以上の表面に粘着性ダイヤモンド様炭素コーティング又はドープ処理されたダイヤモンド様炭素コーティングを適用し、
少なくとも1つのダイヤモンド様炭素又はドープ処理されたダイヤモンド様炭素が被覆された表面を有する複数の基板キャリアを、少なくとも表面抵抗率、光透過率及びガス放出性について試験し、該試験に基づいて該複数の基板キャリアを分類して、少なくとも1つの基板キャリアを選択し、該少なくとも1つの基板キャリアにおいて、粘着性ダイヤモンド様炭素コーティングまたはドープ処理されたダイヤモンド様炭素コーティングは、8.1原子パーセント以上の酸素原子及び9.7原子パーセント以下の窒素原子を含み、そして107オーム/スクエアから1014オーム/スクエアの範囲の表面抵抗率および300nmから1100nmのスペクトルの範囲の光に対する前記熱可塑性材料の透過率よりも0%から70%低い透過率を有し、ここで透過率は、400nm以下のスペクトルの紫外領域で2%以下の透過率であり、さらに、粘着性ダイヤモンド様炭素コーティング又はドープ処理されたダイヤモンド様炭素コーティングは、未被覆のシリコン基板に適用されたとき、未被覆のシリコン基板の2%以内のガス放出を有する、
方法。 - 基材キャリアが、ウエハ用キャリア、フラットパネルディスプレイ用キャリア、およびリソグラフィレチクル用キャリアからなる群から選択されるキャリアの少なくとも部分を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。

- 粘着性ダイヤモンド様炭素コーティングの表面抵抗率が109オーム/スクエアから1012オーム/スクエアの範囲の表面抵抗率を与える、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 粘着性ダイヤモンド様炭素コーティングが102オーム/スクエア未満である表面抵抗率の変動を有する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 粘着性ダイヤモンド様炭素コーティングが101オーム/スクエア未満である表面抵抗率の変動を有する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 粘着性ダイヤモンド様炭素コーティングが炭素ピーク、酸素ピークおよび窒素ピークを有するXPSスペクトルを有する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記粘着性ダイヤモンド様炭素コーティングのXPSスペクトルが284eVにおける炭素ピーク、532eVにおける酸素ピークおよび399eVにおける窒素ピークを含む、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 粘着性ダイヤモンド様炭素コーティングが、プラズマ、プラズマを含有する反応性ガスまたはコロナ放電、酸素含有プラズマによってさらに処理されて、親水性粘着性ダイヤモンド様炭素コーティングが形成される、請求項1に記載の方法。
