Description
この発明の一実施形態に係るインホイールモータ駆動装置を備えた電気自動車11は、図7に示すように、シャーシ12と、操舵輪としての前輪13と、駆動輪としての後輪14と、左右の後輪14それぞれに駆動力を伝達するインホイールモータ駆動装置21とを備える。後輪14は、図8に示すように、シャーシ12のホイールハウジング12aの内部に収容され、懸架装置(サスペンション)12bを介してシャーシ12の下部に固定されている。
モータ部Aは、例えば、ステータ23のコイルに交流電流を供給することによって生じる電磁力を受けて、永久磁石または磁性体によって構成されるロータ24が回転する。これにより、ロータ24の出力軸24aに接続された減速部Bの入力軸25が回転すると、曲線板26a、26bは入力軸25の回転軸心を中心として公転運動する。このとき、外ピン27が、曲線板26a、26bの曲線形状の波形と係合して、曲線板26a、26bを入力軸25の回転とは逆向きに自転運動させる。

Claims (8)
- モータ部の出力軸と車輪ハブ軸受部とを減速部を介して同軸上に連結したインホイールモータ駆動装置において、前記モータ部のハウジングの外周部と、減速部のハウジングの外周部とを一体に形成した一つの外周部材によって構成し、この外周部材のアウトボード側端面に、外周部材とは別体のアウトボード側端面部材を固定し、この別体のアウトボード側端面部材に車輪ハブ軸受部の固定輪を締結ボルトによって締結固定し、前記アウトボード側端面部材のインボード側の端面の外周に、外周部材のアウトボード側端面の内周に嵌合する突壁部を設け、この突壁部と外周部材のアウトボード側端面の内周面との間に、内部からのオイル漏れを防止するシール部材を配置したことを特徴とするインホイールモータ駆動装置。
- 車輪ハブ軸受部が、車輪を取付けるハブ輪と、車体側に固定される固定輪と、ハブ輪と固定輪との間に設けられる複列の転がり軸受とからなり、複列の転がり軸受の内側軌道面と外側軌道面とが、前記ハブ輪と固定輪とそれぞれ別体に構成されている請求項1記載のインホイールモータ駆動装置。
- 前記アウトボード側端面部材が軽金属材料によって形成されている請求項1又は2記載のインホイールモータ駆動装置。
- 車輪ハブ軸受部が、車輪を取付けるハブ輪と、車体側に固定される固定輪と、ハブ輪と固定輪との間に設けられる複列の転がり軸受とからなり、前記固定輪の内面に、複列の転がり軸受の外側軌道面が一体に形成されている請求項1記載のインホイールモータ駆動装置。
- 車輪ハブ軸受部が、車輪を取付けるハブ輪と、車体側に固定される固定輪と、ハブ輪と固定輪との間に設けられる複列の転がり軸受とからなり、前記固定輪の内面に複列の転がり軸受の外側軌道面が一体に形成され、車輪取付けフランジを一体に有するハブ輪の外周に複列の転がり軸受の一方の内側軌道面が一体に形成されている請求項1記載のインホイールモータ駆動装置。
- 前記外周部材が軽金属材料によって形成されている請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載のインホイールモータ駆動装置。
- 前記シール部材がOリングである請求項1に記載のインホイールモータ駆動装置。
- 前記請求項1〜7のインホイールモータ駆動装置を備える車両。
