Claims (4)
- 近紫外レーザ光を出射する光源と、前記光源の出射光により励起して発光する2種類以上の種類の異なる蛍光体を含む蛍光部材とを備えた発光装置において、前記蛍光部材が、高熱伝導体から成る基板と、前記基板上に前記蛍光体の粒子を堆積した蛍光体層とを有し、
前記蛍光体の粒子をバインダーにより被膜して隣接する前記蛍光体の粒子を固着するとともに、前記バインダーにより被膜された前記蛍光体の粒子をコーティング材により覆って前記蛍光体層を固着し、前記バインダーと前記コーティング材とが異なる材料から成ることを特徴とする発光装置。 - 前記バインダーがシリカから成るとともに、前記コーティング材がTiO2から成ることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の発光装置。
- 前記蛍光体層の表面と前記基板との間に前記蛍光体の粒子が連続して繋がることを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2に記載の発光装置。
- 近紫外レーザ光を出射する光源と、前記光源の出射光により励起して発光する2種類以上の種類の異なる蛍光体を含む蛍光部材とを備えた発光装置の製造方法において、前記蛍光部材が、高熱伝導体から成る基板と、前記基板上に前記蛍光体の粒子を堆積した蛍光体層とを有し、分散媒に前記蛍光体の粒子を分散させる分散工程と、前記分散媒にシリカの前駆体を添加して前記蛍光体の粒子をシリカの前駆体により覆うバインダー添加工程と、前記分散媒に分散した前記蛍光体の粒子を電気泳動法または沈降法によって前記基板上に堆積して前記蛍光体層を形成する蛍光体層形成工程と、TiO2のアルコキシドを前記蛍光体層上に塗布するコーティング材塗布工程と、前記分散媒から取り出した前記蛍光部材を焼成して前記蛍光体の粒子をシリカにより被膜するとともに前記蛍光体層をTiO2によりコーティングする焼成工程と、を備えたことを特徴とする発光装置の製造方法。
