Claims (3)
- 複数の光変調素子と、
特定断面内において、光源からの光を複数の色光に分解して前記複数の光変調素子に導くとともに、該複数の光変調素子により変調された前記複数の色光を合成して投射光学系に導く色分解合成光学系と、
前記色分解合成光学系を保持する光学系保持部材と、
前記特定断面に平行に前記光学系保持部材に取り付けられ、前記複数の光変調素子に電気的に接続された電気回路基板と、
前記色分解合成光学系に対して挿抜が可能な光学素子とを有し、
前記光学系保持部材は、前記特定断面に直交する方向であって前記電気回路基板が取り付けられた側とは反対側において、前記光学素子の挿抜を可能とする構造を有することを特徴とする画像投射装置。 - 前記光学素子は、素子保持部材によって保持されており、
該素子保持部材は、前記光学素子を前記色分解合成光学系に挿入した状態において前記光学系保持部材から突出する挿抜つまみ部を有しており、
該挿抜つまみ部は、前記光学素子を冷却するための空気が通る冷却風路内に配置されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の画像投射装置。 - 前記光学素子を保持する素子保持部材は、前記光学素子を前記色分解合成光学系に挿入した状態において、該光学素子の回転位置の調整を可能とする構造を有することを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の画像投射装置。
