Description
屈折率がn2でΔn=│n2−n1│が0.012以下であるスチレン系エラストマーとを含み、
JIS K7136に準拠し、厚みが100μmの試験片についてPEG(ポリエチレングリコール)液中で測定される内部ヘイズ値が1.0%以下である透明フィルム。
環状オレフィン樹脂組成物は、環状オレフィン樹脂とスチレン系エラストマーとを含む。以下、環状オレフィン樹脂、スチレン系エラストマー、その他の成分について説明する。
環状オレフィン樹脂は、環状オレフィン成分を共重合成分として含むものであり、ガラス転移点(Tg)が170℃以上であり、環状オレフィン成分を主鎖に含むポリオレフィン系樹脂であれば、特に限定されるものではない。例えば、環状オレフィンの付加重合体又はその水素添加物、環状オレフィンとα−オレフィンの付加共重合体又はその水素添加物等を挙げることができる。
R9とR10、R11とR12は、一体化して2価の炭化水素基を形成してもよく、
R9又はR10と、R11又はR12とは、互いに環を形成していてもよい。
また、nは、0又は正の整数を示し、
nが2以上の場合には、R5〜R8は、それぞれの繰り返し単位の中で、それぞれ同一でも異なっていてもよい。)
炭素数2〜20のα−オレフィンは、特に限定されるものではない。例えば、特開2007−302722と同様のものを挙げることができる。また、これらのα−オレフィン成分は、1種単独でも2種以上を同時に使用してもよい。これらの中では、エチレンの単独使用が最も好ましい。
一般式(I)におけるR1〜R12は、それぞれ同一でも異なっていてもよく、水素原子、ハロゲン原子、及び、炭化水素基からなる群より選ばれるものである。
環状オレフィン樹脂はノルボルネンとエチレンとの共重合体であることが特に好ましい。ノルボルネンとエチレン比率が容易に調整でき、その比率によりTgを容易に調整できる。
環状オレフィン樹脂は、上記の〔1〕炭素数2〜20のα−オレフィン成分と、〔2〕一般式(I)で示される環状オレフィン成分以外に、本発明の目的を損なわない範囲で、必要に応じて他の共重合可能な不飽和単量体成分を含有していてもよい。
スチレン系エラストマーは、共重合体のユニットとしてスチレンユニットを含めば特に限定されず、従来公知のものを使用することができる。従来公知のスチレン系エラストマー樹脂としては、例えば、SIBS(スチレン−イソブチレン−スチレン共重合体)、SEBS(スチレン−エチレン−ブチレン−スチレン共重合体)、SEPS(スチレン−プロピレン−スチレン共重合体)、SEEPS(水素添加スチレン−イソプレン・ブタジエン−スチレン共重合体)などが例示できるがこれらに限定されない。
Mav=10exp(logMA×a+logMB×b+logMC×c)
で求められる。
本発明の環状オレフィン樹脂組成物の製造方法は特に限定されない。一般に樹脂組成物の調製法として公知の設備と方法により、樹脂組成物を調製することができる。
本発明の耐熱性透明フィルム(以下単にフィルムともいう)は、従来公知のTダイ法やカレンダー法によって所定の厚さ、好ましくは30から150μmでフィルム成形される。押出成形時のシリンダ温度は、環状オレフィン樹脂組成物に含まれる環状オレフィン樹脂のガラス転移点(Tg)+170℃以下、好ましくは(Tg)+150℃以下、さらに好ましくは(Tg)+120℃以下である。シリンダ温度の条件を特定の範囲に調整することで、十分に透明性の高いフィルムを得ることができる。具体的にはシリンダ温度は、280℃以上320℃以下に調整することが好ましい。これにより、熱による環状オレフィン樹脂の劣化、熱可塑性エラストマーの劣化、その他の成分の劣化を充分に抑えることができる。これらの劣化を抑えることで、フィルム成形品の透明性の低下を抑えることができたり、その他の物性の低下を抑えることができたりする。
環状オレフィン樹脂、スチレン系エラストマーを表1から表3の配合(全組成物中の質量%)として、実施例及び比較例の組成物を30mmΦ2軸押機(D/d=1.4、L/D=35)、シリンダ温度300℃、押出し量15kg/hr、スクリュー回転数200rpmでペレット化した。

上記フィルムについて、下記の評価を行った。測定結果はそれぞれ表1から3に示した。
ヘイズメーター(東洋精機製作所社製、商品名:ヘイズガードII)を用いて、JIS K7136に準拠する方法で全ヘイズを測定した。
ヘイズメーター(東洋精機製作所社製、商品名:ヘイズガードII)を用いて、JIS K7136に準拠する方法で内部ヘイズを測定した。具体的には、フィルム表面の散乱をキャンセルするために、PEGを満たした石英セル中に試験片を浸漬した状態で測定した。数値は、PEGを満たし試験片を浸漬した状態での石英セルのヘイズ値から、試験片を浸漬せず石英セルにPEGを満たしたのみの状態での石英セルのヘイズ値を引いた値を示した。
試験片を、温度150℃、1時間処理後、上記全ヘイズ値を測定し、ヘイズ値増加量を算出した。
東洋精機社製MIT耐揉疲労試験機を用いて、JIS P8115に準拠する方法でフィルムが破断するまでの折り曲げ回数を評価した。例えば、0は1回の折り曲げで破断したことを示し、1は1回目の折り曲げでは破断せずに2回目の折り曲げで破断したことを示す。MDは製膜時のフィルム引き取り方向に対して直角方向に折り目がつくように折り曲げたことを示し(折り曲げる方向がMDとなるために実施例のMIT試験においてMD方向と定義する)、TDは製膜時のフィルム引き取り方向に沿った方向に折り目がつくように折り曲げたことを示す(折り曲げる方向がTDとなるために実施例のMIT試験においてTD方向と定義する)。
東洋精機社製メルトインデクサーを用いてJIS K7210に準拠する方法で、270℃、荷重2.16kgの条件でMIを測定した。
Claims (2)
- 屈折率がn1でガラス転移点(Tg)が170℃以上の環状オレフィン樹脂と、
屈折率がn2でΔn=│n2−n1│が0.012以下であるスチレン系エラストマーとを含み、
JIS K7136に準拠し、厚みが100μmの試験片についてポリエチレングリコール液中で測定される内部ヘイズ値が1.0%以下であり、
前記環状オレフィン樹脂の270℃、荷重2.16kgにおけるメルトインデックス(MI)より、MIが小さい前記スチレン系エラストマーを少なくとも含有する透明フィルム。 - 更に、前記環状オレフィン樹脂より、MIが大きい前記スチレン系エラストマーを含有する請求項1に記載の透明フィルム。
