Claims (6)
- 底端部、頂端部、および前記底端部と前記頂端部の間に配置された中間領域を有する原子炉用の燃料棒であって、
前記底端部の近位に配置された第1の軸方向ゾーンと、
前記中間領域内に前記第1の軸方向ゾーンに隣接して配置された第2の軸方向ゾーンと、
前記頂端部の近位に配置された第3の軸方向ゾーンと
を有し、
前記第1の軸方向ゾーンが、前記第2の軸方向ゾーンより大きいウラン濃縮度を有し、
前記第2の軸方向ゾーンが、前記第3の軸方向ゾーンより大きいウラン濃縮度を有し、
前記第3の軸方向ゾーンが、天然ウランよりも大きいウラン濃縮度を有し、
前記第1の軸方向ゾーン、前記第2の軸方向ゾーン、および前記第3の軸方向ゾーンが、平均ウラン濃縮度および平均ガドリニウムドーピングのうちの少なくとも1つが異なるレベルを有すること、
を特徴とする燃料棒。 - さらに、前記底端部と前記第1の軸方向ゾーンの間に配置された底端部の軸方向ゾーンを備え、前記底端部の軸方向ゾーンが、天然ウランおよび前記第1の軸方向ゾーンのウラン濃縮度とほぼ等しいウラン濃縮度の少なくとも1つを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の燃料棒。
- さらに、前記第3の軸方向ゾーンと前記頂端部の間に配置された頂端部の軸方向ゾーンを備え、前記頂端部の軸方向ゾーンが、天然ウランおよび前記第1の軸方向ゾーンの前記ウラン濃縮度とほぼ等しいウラン濃縮度の少なくとも1つを含むことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の燃料棒。
- 前記燃料棒が、5つの軸方向ゾーンしか有さないことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の燃料棒。
- 前記第1、第2、および第3の軸方向ゾーンの各々が、各々の軸方向ゾーン内に一様に軸方向に分布されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の燃料棒。
- 前記燃料棒が、天然ウランよりも大きなウラン濃縮度を有する、3つの軸方向ゾーンしか有さないことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の燃料棒。
