Claims (4)
- 車両の外部環境を認識する外部環境認識手段と、
前記外部環境認識手段で認識した少なくとも車両前方の外部環境に基づき前記車両の減速要因を検出し、該減速要因に基づいてアイドルストップ開始車速を設定するアイドルストップ開始車速設定手段と、
前記車両の車速が前記アイドルストップ開始車速設定手段で設定したアイドルストップ開始車速未満まで減速されたときエンジンを停止させるアイドルストップ制御手段と
を備え、
前記アイドルストップ開始車速設定手段で検出する前記減速要因には、前記外部環境認識手段で認識した前方の信号機と前記車両の直前を走行している先行車の最後部との距離が含まれている
ことを特徴とするアイドルストップ装置。 - 前記車両に設けられているブレーキペダルの踏力を検出するブレーキ踏力検出手段を有し、
前記アイドルストップ開始車速設定手段は、少なくとも前記ブレーキ踏力検出手段で検出したブレーキ踏力に基づいて前記アイドルストップ開始車速を設定する
ことを特徴とする請求項1記載のアイドルストップ装置。 - 前記車両に搭載されているエンジンは、出力特性の異なる複数のエンジンモードを有しており、パワーを重視するエンジンモードが選択された場合、前記アイドルストップ開始車速の設定は解除される
ことを特徴とする請求項1,2の何れか1項に記載のアイドルストップ装置。 - 前記外部環境認識手段は、メインカメラとサブカメラとを有する車載カメラである
ことを特徴とする請求項1〜3の何れか1項に記載のアイドルストップ装置。
