Description
平均分子量が2300の無水ポリイソブテニルコハク酸と重ポリアミンから製造されエチレンカーボネートで後処理されたビススクシンイミド3.858質量%、ホウ素化モノオレイン酸グリセロール摩擦緩和剤0.286質量%、モリブデンスクシンイミドの分散剤/摩耗防止剤0.487質量%、ジフェニルアミン抗酸化剤0.490質量%、17TBNのカルシウムスルホネート清浄剤0.593質量%、410TBNのカルシウムスルホネート清浄剤1.141質量%、シリコーン起源の消泡剤0.050質量%、エクソン100N希釈油0.537質量%およびエチレン−プロピレン共重合体粘度指数向上剤4.800質量%を、グループII基油87.46質量%中に含む潤滑油組成物を調製した。得られた潤滑油組成物は、リン含有量が0質量%、そして硫黄含有量が0.051質量%であった。
実施例1の潤滑油組成物に、ジヒドロカルビルジチオリン酸亜鉛0.64質量%を加えた。得られた潤滑油組成物は、リン含有量が0.048質量%、そして硫黄含有量が0.151質量%であった。
スクシンイミド分散剤2.35質量%、ホウ素化スクシンイミド分散剤6質量%、260TBNの硫化カルシウムフェネート清浄剤2.84質量%、17TBNのカルシウムスルホネート清浄剤1.02質量%、410TBNのカルシウムスルホネート清浄剤0.22質量%、ジフェニルアミン抗酸化剤0.3質量%、ヒンダードフェノール抗酸化剤0.6質量%、(1300MWのPIBSAと重ポリアミンから製造した)ビススクシンイミドのテレフタル酸塩分散剤0.4質量%、モリブデンスクシンイミド錯体の分散剤/摩耗防止剤0.5質量%、消泡剤10ppm、官能基を有する粘度指数向上剤5.75質量%、流動点降下剤0.3質量%、官能基を持たない粘度指数向上剤0.75質量%、およびジヒドロカルビルジチオリン酸亜鉛1.89質量%を、100℃における動粘度(kv)が4.7乃至4.9cStであるグループII基油24.5質量%と100℃におけるkvが7.8乃至7.9cStであるグループII基油75.5質量%とからなる基油76.17質量%中に含む潤滑油組成物を調製した。得られた潤滑油組成物は、リン含有量が0.150質量%、そして硫黄含有量が0.445質量%であった。
(ミニトラクションマシン評価)
実施例1の潤滑油組成物および比較例AとBの潤滑油組成物を、ミニ−トラクションマシン(MTM)ベンチテスト(PCSインスツルメンツ社、ロンドン、英国)を用いて評価した。PCSのMTM装置を変更し、装置に付随していたピンホルダーを、ファレックス社の52100スチールからなる1/4インチテストボールに(特製のホルダーと共に)置き換えた(例えば、ヤマグチ、E.S.、「変更したMTM摩擦計を用いる摩擦および摩耗の測定」、IPコム・ジャーナル7、2巻、9、57〜58頁(2002年8月)、IPCOM番号000009117D;およびヤマグチ、E.S.、「ディーゼルエンジン中の煤煙による摩耗」、摩擦工学学会報、機械工学部門の集録、J部、220巻、J5号、463〜469頁(2006年)参照)。装置は、ピン・オン・ディスク式で使用し、すべり条件で作動させた。特製のホルダー内でボールを堅く固定して実施し、ディスクがスライドする間、ボールがその下に留まっているようにした。条件を第1表に示す。

Claims (8)
- (a)主要量の潤滑性粘度を有する油、(b)無灰性分散剤、(c)150乃至450のTBNを有するホウ素化されていない過塩基性アルカル土類金属スルホネート清浄剤である第1の金属含有清浄剤、及び10乃至50のTBNを有するホウ素化されていない過塩基性アルカル土類金属スルホネート清浄剤である第2の金属含有清浄剤、(d)ジフェニルアミン化合物を含む抗酸化剤、ならびに(e)モリブデン含有錯体を含む抗摩耗剤を含む潤滑油組成物であって、潤滑油組成物はジアルキルジチオリン酸亜鉛化合物を含まず、リンを含有しない。
- 無灰性分散剤が一つ以上の無水ポリアルキレンコハク酸から誘導されるビススクシンイミドである請求項1の潤滑油組成物。
- ポリアルキレン基が900乃至2300の平均分子量を有するポリイソブテニル基である請求項2の潤滑油組成物。
- ビススクシンイミドがエチレンカーボネートで後処理されている請求項3の潤滑油組成物。
- モリブデン含有錯体がモリブデン/窒素錯体である請求項1の潤滑油組成物。
- 潤滑油組成物の全質量に対して無灰性分散剤を3質量%乃至10質量%;
潤滑油組成物の全質量に対して少なくとも一つの金属含有清浄剤を0.5質量%乃至2質量%;
潤滑油組成物の全質量に対して抗酸化剤を0.2質量%乃至1質量%;および
潤滑油組成物の全質量に対して抗摩耗剤を0.1質量%乃至2質量%;を含む請求項1の潤滑油組成物。 - さらに摩擦緩和剤、極圧剤、粘度指数向上剤、流動点降下剤、およびそれらの混合物からなる群より選ばれる少なくとも一つの添加剤を含む請求項1の潤滑油組成物。
- 内燃機関内の摩耗の軽減方法であって、請求項1乃至7に従う潤滑油組成物を用いて内燃機関を作動させることを含む方法であって、該内燃機関内の摩耗の軽減が、ミニトラクションマシンベンチテストを用いて評価したものである、上記方法。
