Description
本願は、2008年1月4日出願の表題「プレアロイ銅合金粉末鍛造連接棒」なる米国暫定特許出願第60/019,122の優先権を主張し、その全内容は参照のためにここに組み込まれる。

Claims (11)
- 炭素ソースと鉄と1から5重量パーセントの銅で構成されたプレアロイ合金粉末とからなる粉末金属を圧粉成形体へ成形する成形工程と、
圧粉成形体を一定の時間焼結して、焼結体を形成する焼結工程と、
塑性流動を含む鍛造を前記焼結体に行なうことで、連接棒を形成する鍛造工程と、
を備えたことを特徴とする連接棒の製造方法。 - 前記連接棒が、エンジンに用いる前に追加の熱処理を要しないことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の連接棒の製造方法。
- 前記連接棒を、鍛造工程の後であって、前記連接棒の熱処理の前に、エンジンに取り付ける工程をさらに備えたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の連接棒の製造方法。
- 前記炭素ソースが、黒鉛粉末であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の連接棒の製造方法。
- 前記粉末金属が、硫化マンガン粉末をさらに含んでいることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の連接棒の製造方法。
- 前記粉末金属が、銅粉末をさらに含んでいることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の連接棒の製造方法。
- 前記プレアロイ合金粉末が、鉄と約3重量パーセントの銅で構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の連接棒の製造方法。
- 前記連接棒が、実質的にマルテンサイトのない微細構造を有していることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の連接棒の製造方法。
- 前記焼結体を鍛造工程に送る前に、前記圧粉成形体を2度焼結する工程をさらに備えたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の連接棒の製造方法。
- 前記鍛造工程が、回転式鍛造炉床によって行なわれることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の連接棒の製造方法。
- 請求項1に記載された連接棒の製造方法により製造された連接棒。
