Claims (5)
- 横方向インコアプローブ(TIP)(40/41)であって、
ケーブル(36)と、
該ケーブルに取り付けられたTIP検出器(38)と、
該TIP検出器から固定距離(20)離れて該ケーブルに固定された中性子吸収器(44)とを備え、
前記中性子吸収器が、ホウ素−10、カドミウム、またはハフニウムを備える、
TIP。 - 前記中性子吸収器が、前記ケーブル内に織り込まれる、または埋め込まれることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のTIP。
- 前記離れた固定距離が、約15.24センチメートル(6インチ)であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のTIP。
- 横方向インコアプローブ(TIP)(40/41)であって、
ケーブル(36)と、
該ケーブルに取り付けられたTIP検出器(38)と、
該ケーブルの端部に取り付けられ、中性子吸収器(44)を含む延長部(46)とを備え、
前記中性子吸収器が、ホウ素−10、カドミウム、またはハフニウムを備える、
TIP。 - 前記TIP検出器と前記中性子吸収器は互いに固定距離(20)離れており、
該固定距離が、約15.24センチメートル(6インチ)であること
を特徴とする請求項4に記載のTIP(40/41)。
