Description
‐ 推進によりダクト内に挿入可能である点。検査される施設に侵入するためのアクセス部は一つしかない場合が多いので、推進は、作業現場に最も適した動作モードである;
‐ 1cm未満の直径及び3cmという小さな曲率半径を有するダクト内に挿入可能である点;
‐ 感度の顕著な変動がなく数十kGyの線量に耐えることができる放射線耐性OSL検出器から成る点。従って、時間に対して安定な線量応答を有する取り外し不可能なケーブルの製造を検討することができる;
‐ 電磁的な乱れからは当然に保護され、顕著なオフセットが検討可能である点;
‐ 線量範囲(3から4桁)と積分時間範囲(2から3桁)の組み合わせで、線量率範囲が顕著なもの(5から7桁)である点。従って、曝露時間を変更することによって、同じケーブルが、非常に強力な“被曝”環境(典型的は10Gy/h)及び低い“被曝”環境(典型的には1μGy/h)において動作可能である。
‐ 光子エネルギー範囲が顕著である点(典型的には50keVから6MeV以上)
‐ 光ファイバーが“過剰長さ(オーバーレングス)”を有し、破断を伴わずにケーブルの機械的構造の屈曲を可能にする点;
‐ 本発明の改良において、本発明のデバイスは、線量率測定と共に温度測定を提供し、必要であれば、温度変動に対して測定が全く影響されないようにする点。
‐コア200μm、クラッド225μm、コーティング500μm、NA=0.39;
‐コア200μm、クラッド230μm、コーティング500μm、NA=0.48;
‐コア200μm、クラッド230μm、コーティング500μm、NA=0.37又は0.43。
‐ 光刺激の前に、全てのOSL検出器をリセットする;
‐ 以前の光刺激を停止して、使用者によって定められる時間T(数分間、数時間、数日間、数週間、又は数か月間)にわたってOSL検出器を曝露する;
‐ 光刺激に続いて、異なる複数のOSL検出器からのOSLルミネッセンスを読み取り、全ての検出器をリセットする。
‐ OSL検出器のバックグラウンドノイズ;
‐ OSL検出器結晶の深いトラップの蛍光発光;
‐ OSLパルスを伝えるファイバー内のシンチレーション及びチェレンコフ効果(これらは、フレキシブルケーブルの周りに存在する環境の放射特性の関数である。)

作業者が予めターンテーブルからマルチファイバー光ケーブル19を接続解除してある。これを忘れている場合には、その筐体内のコネクターの存在が、モーターの始動を防ぐ。
フレキシブルケーブルが所望の位置に達すると、ケーブルが完全に巻かれているか否かにかかわらず、作業者はモーターをニュートラルにする。
ルミネッセンスを読み取ると、作業者はターンテーブルのマルチファイバーケーブル19を再び接続解除して、モーターを回転させることが出来るようにする。作業者は、レバー15を“巻き取り”ポジションにすることによって、ターンテーブルへのケーブルの巻き取りを開始する。この工程は、回転力をターンテーブルに伝えるベルトを駆動させる第二ハブを回転させることによって行われる。ターンテーブルが段階1の方向とは逆方向に回転して、フレキシブルケーブルFLが巻き取られ、好ましくは、“ジグザグ”状に巻き取られ(回転運動と並進運動との交互の組み合わせ)、ターンテーブルの表面全体にわたってケーブルを均一に分布させる。他の巻き取り手順も想定可能である。

Claims (17)
- 支持ケーブル(MB)に沿って順に分布している少なくとも二つの放射線検出器(Di)を備える放射線検出デバイスであって、各検出器(Di)が、少なくとも一つの光ファイバー(Fi)に光学的に結合された光刺激ルミネッセンス検出素子(9)を備え、各光刺激ルミネッセンス検出素子(9)が、前記支持ケーブル(MB)に固定された機械的部品(d)によって、前記光ファイバーの第一端部に対向して保持され、前記機械的部品(d)が、変形可能な固体製のキャリアシリンダー(S)を備える保持手段(S、Fk、Fl、Fj)によって、フレキシブルケーブル(FL)内に保持され、前記キャリアシリンダー(S)に前記光ファイバーが巻かれていて、各光ファイバーの第二端部が、前記フレキシブルケーブル(FL)の同一の第一端部に繋がることを特徴とするデバイス。
- 前記支持ケーブル(MB)を取り囲む前記機械的部品(d)が、互いに整列した第一孔及び第二孔を備え、前記光刺激ルミネッセンス検出素子(9)が前記第一孔内に固定されていて、前記光ファイバー(Fi)が前記第二孔内に固定されている、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記光ファイバーが螺旋状に巻かれている、請求項1又は2に記載のデバイス。
- 前記変形可能な固体がポリマーである、請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載のデバイス。
- 複数の光ファイバーが同一の光刺激ルミネッセンス検出素子(9)に結合されていて、前記複数の光ファイバーがファイバー束(Fi)としてキャピラリーパイプ(K)内にまとめられている、請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載のデバイス。
- グリース層(G)が前記フレキシブルケーブルの内壁を覆っている、請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載のデバイス。
- ポリマー層(R)が前記フレキシブルケーブルの外壁を覆っている、請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載のデバイス。
- 複数のファイバーブラッググレーティング(B)を含むシングルモード光ファイバーが前記機械的部品(d)に固定されていて、前記光ファイバーが、前記フレキシブルケーブル(FL)の第一端部に繋がる端部を有する、請求項1から7のいずれか一項に記載のデバイス。
- 前記支持ケーブル(MB)がマルチストランドワイヤである、請求項1から8のいずれか一項に記載のデバイス。
- 前記フレキシブルケーブル(FL)がインターロック型金属ホースである、請求項1から9のいずれか一項に記載のデバイス。
- 前記フレキシブルケーブル(FL)の公称直径が4mmから100mmまでの間である、請求項1から10のいずれか一項に記載のデバイス。
- マルチモード光ファイバーのコアの直径が100μmから200μmまでの間である、請求項1から11のいずれか一項に記載のデバイス。
- 前記フレキシブルケーブル(FL)の第一端部の反対側の第二端部がチップ(EB)によって閉鎖されている、請求項1から12のいずれか一項に記載のデバイス。
- 前記チップがマイクロホン(MC)を備える、請求項13に記載のデバイス。
- 施設(I)内の放射線検出システムであって、放射線検出デバイスと、前記施設(I)内に前記放射線検出デバイスを導入するための手段とを備え、前記放射線検出デバイスが請求項13又は14に記載のデバイスであり、前記施設(I)内に前記放射線検出デバイスを導入するための手段が、前記フレキシブルケーブル(FL)が巻かれるターンテーブル(16)と、前記施設内に開口していて且つ前記フレキシブルケーブルのチップが入れられる注入チューブ(13)と、前記施設内に前記フレキシブルケーブル(FL)を推進させる手段(14、15)とを備えることを特徴とする検出システム。
- 前記施設内に前記フレキシブルケーブル(FL)を推進させる手段(14、15)が、モーター(14)と、前記モーターに接続された機械的手段(17)であって、前記モーターに推進命令が与えられると前記ターンテーブル(16)を回転させる機械的手段(17)とを備える、請求項15に記載の検出システム。
- 前記ターンテーブル(16)に固定されたマルチファイバーコネクター(18)が、前記光刺激ルミネッセンス検出素子(9)を刺激して且つ放射線曝露に起因するルミネッセンスを読み取る測定機器(19、20、21)に、前記光ファイバーの第二端部を接続する、請求項15又は16に記載の検出システム。
