Claims (9)
- 第1基板と、前記第1基板と対向する第2基板と、前記第2基板とは反対側に前記第1基板が有する表面及び前記第1基板とは反対側に前記第2基板が有する裏面にそれぞれ貼りつけられた偏光板と、を含む液晶表示パネルと、
前記裏面に取り付けられたフレームと、
前記フレームの内側に配置されたバックライトと、
前記表面側に重ねられた電子パネルと、
を有し、
前記電子パネルは、前記液晶表示パネルからはみ出す突出端部を有し、
前記フレームは、前記裏面に対向する第1部分と、前記液晶表示パネルの側方で前記第1部分から前記電子パネルの前記突出端部の方向に立ち上がる第2部分と、を有し、
前記電子パネルの前記突出端部は、前記第2部分と非接着状態で対向し、
前記第1基板は、前記表面の端部に前記偏光板が貼り付けられていない第1の領域を有し、
前記電子パネルの外周端部は、前記液晶表示パネルからはみ出す前記突出端部の他に、前記第1の領域に対向する対向端部を有し、
前記対向端部と前記第1の領域との間にスペーサが介在することを特徴とする液晶表示装置。 - 請求項1に記載された液晶表示装置において、
前記第2部分の前記電子パネルの前記突出端部と対向する面は、前記裏面よりも、前記電子パネルの前記突出端部に近いことを特徴とする液晶表示装置。 - 請求項1に記載された液晶表示装置において、
前記第2部分と前記電子パネルの前記突出端部との間の間隔は、0.15mm以内であることを特徴とする液晶表示装置。 - 請求項1から3のいずれか1項に記載された液晶表示装置において、
前記電子パネルは、矩形の平面形状を有し、
前記矩形の3辺が、前記突出端部の先端であり、
前記矩形の残りの1辺が、前記対向端部の先端であることを特徴とする液晶表示装置。 - 請求項4に記載された液晶表示装置において、
前記第2基板は、前記第1基板の前記第1の領域から突出する第2の領域を有し、
前記第2の領域には、集積回路チップ及びフレキシブル配線基板が搭載されていることを特徴とする液晶表示装置。 - 請求項1から5のいずれか1項に記載された液晶表示装置において、
前記スペーサは、樹脂からなることを特徴とする液晶表示装置。 - 請求項1から6のいずれか1項に記載された液晶表示装置において、
前記スペーサと前記電子パネルの前記対向端部とは所定の間隔を有することを特徴とする液晶表示装置。 - 請求項7に記載された液晶表示装置において、
前記所定の間隔は0.1mm以内であることを特徴とする液晶表示装置。 - 請求項1から8のいずれか1項に記載された液晶表示装置において、
前記電子パネルは、タッチパネル又は裸眼立体視を実現するための視差バリアパネルであることを特徴とする液晶表示装置。
