Description
本願は、「CAM TORQUE ACTUATED PHASER USING BAND CHECK VALVES BUILT INTO A CAMSHAFT OR CONCENTRIC CAMSHAFTS(カムシャフトまたは複数の同心カムシャフトに内蔵されたバンド逆止弁を使用するカムトルク駆動型位相器)」と題して2008年9月19日に出願された米国仮特許出願第61/098,289号、および「PHASER BUILT INTO A CAMSHAFT OR CONCENTRIC CAMSHAFTS(カムシャフトまたは複数の同心カムシャフトに内蔵された位相器)」と題して2008年9月19日に出願された米国仮特許出願第61/098,274号に開示された1つまたは複数の発明について主張するものである。米国特許法119条(e)に基づく米国仮特許出願の利益が本明細書で主張され、前述の出願は、参照により本明細書に援用するものとする。
Claims (4)
- 内燃機関用のカムシャフトアセンブリであって、
長さ方向に沿って環状部60、19、28、30、32を有する中空の外側シャフト2であって、内側シャフト4が、前記内側シャフト4の長さ方向に沿ってポート4a、29、31、27および少なくとも1つの環状部37a、37bを有し、前記内側シャフト4の一端に穴4cを形成する、中空の外側シャフト2と、
長さ方向に沿った前記ポート29、31、27の少なくとも1つが、前記外側シャフト2の長さ方向に沿った前記環状部28、30、32と整列するように、前記中空の外側シャフト2内に受け入れられる内側シャフト4と、
前記外側シャフト2に取り付けられた少なくとも第2のカム山6、および前記内側シャフト4に取り付けられた少なくとも1つの第1のカム山8と、
位相器70であって、
i)駆動力を受ける外周部14付きハウジング12と、
ii)前記ハウジング12内に同軸に配置されたロータであって、前記ハウジング12と共に、前記ハウジング内のチャンバを、進角チャンバ3と遅角チャンバ5とに分割する少なくとも1つのベーン10aを画定し、前記ベーン10aは、前記ハウジング12とロータ10との相対角度位置を変えるために回転することができる、ロータ10と、
iii)前記内側シャフト4の穴4c内に収容され、複数の定量スロット20b、20c、20dを有するスプール20を含む制御弁21と、
を備える位相器70と、
前記位相器の前記ハウジング12および第1のベアリング147に隣接する第1の外側シャフト部片149であって、流体が前記スプール20の前記定量スロット20bを通って前記遅角チャンバ5に出入りするためのチャンバ149aを画定し、前記第1のベアリング147は、前記位相器70に補充オイルを供給する加圧源に接続された通路118を有する、第1の外側シャフト部片149と、
前記第1のベアリング147および前記第2のカム山6に隣接し、前記スプール20の前記定量スロット20cを通って、進角チャンバ3に出入りする流体流れのためのチャンバ150aを画定する第2の外側シャフト部片150と、
前記制御弁の前記スプールの位置を制御するための弁62と流体連通した通路152を備える第2のベアリング151と、
を含むカムシャフトアセンブリ。 - 前記第2の外側シャフト部片の前記チャンバは、前記スプールの定量スロット20dに流体を供給し、ロックピン位置を制御する、請求項1に記載のカムシャフトアセンブリ。
- 前記少なくとも1つのカム山は、前記内側シャフトに直接取り付けられ、前記少なくとも1つの他のカム山は、前記外側シャフトに直接取り付けられる、請求項1に記載のカムシャフトアセンブリ。
- 前記少なくとも1つのカム山は、前記外側シャフトに固定された第1のカム山セットであり、前記少なくとも1つの他のカム山は、穴を画定し、前記穴が前記外側シャフト2のスロットの上に整列するように、すき間ばめで前記外側シャフト2上に配置された第2のカム山セットであり、前記第2のカム山セットを前記内側シャフト4に固定し、それと同時に、前記第2のカム山セットが前記外側シャフト2とすき間ばめで嵌合するのを可能にする手段を含む、請求項1に記載のカムシャフトアセンブリ。
