Description
本出願は、2008年9月19日に出願され、「PHASER BUILD INTO A CAMSHAFT OR CONCENTRIC CAMSHAFTS」と題する米国仮特許出願第61/098,274号明細書において、かつ2008年9月19日に出願され、「CAM TORQUE ACTUATED PHASER USING BAND CHECK VALVES BUILD INTO A CAMSHAFT OR CONCENTRIC CAMSHAFTS」と題する米国仮特許出願第61/098,289号明細書に開示された1つまたは複数の発明を主張する。本明細書では、米国特許法第119条(e)に基づく米国仮特許出願の利益を主張し、上述した出願は、参照により本明細書に援用される。
Claims (9)
- 内燃機関用のカムシャフトアセンブリ(40)であって、
中空外側シャフト(2)と、
前記中空外側シャフト(2)内に収容された内側シャフト(4)と、
前記外側シャフト(2)に装着された少なくとも1つのカムローブ(6、8)および前記内側シャフト(4)に装着された少なくとも1つの他のカムローブと、
前記内側シャフト(4)および前記外側シャフト(2)に取り付けられた位相器(42)と、
複数の通路(22、24、26、28、52、54)および前記内側シャフト(4)を介する前記位相器(42、32)へのおよび前記位相器(42、32)からの流体流を制御するリモートコントロールバルブ(16)と、
前記内側シャフト(4)内に挿入され、かつ前記位相器、および前記リモートコントロールバルブ(16)と流体連通する前記複数の通路(52、54)と整列する、オイル移送スリーブ(50)と、
を備えるカムシャフトアセンブリ。 - 前記位相器(42)が、
駆動力を受け入れる外周(14)を備えかつ前記外側シャフト(2)に取り付けられたハウジング(12)と、
前記ハウジング(12)内に同軸に配置されたロータ(10)であって、前記ハウジング(12)および前記ロータ(10)が、前記ハウジング内のチャンバをアドバンスチャンバ(3)およびリタードチャンバ(5)に分離する少なくとも1つのベーンを画定し、前記ベーン(10a)が、前記ハウジング(12)および前記ロータ(10)の相対的な角度位置をシフトさせる回転が可能である、前記内側シャフト(4)に取り付けられたロータ(10)と、
をさらに備える、請求項1に記載のカムシャフトアセンブリ。 - 前記内側シャフト(4)が、前記位相器および前記複数の通路(22、24、26、28)と流体連通する前記内側シャフト(4)の外面上の溝(4b)と前記内側シャフト(4)の穴(4a、4c、4d)とをさらに備える、請求項1に記載のカムシャフトアセンブリ。
- 前記内側シャフト(4)が、前記位相器(42、32)および前記複数の通路(52、54)と流体連通する前記内側シャフトの穴(56、58、62)をさらに備える、請求項1に記載のカムシャフトアセンブリ。
- 前記オイル移送スリーブ(50)が、
前記オイル移送スリーブ(50)の外面のポート(50b)、前記内側シャフトの穴(58)、前記外側シャフト(2)およびリタード導入ライン通路(54)内の環状体(54a)、ならびに前記リタードチャンバ(5)と流体連通するリタード通路(34)と流体連通する貫通穴(50a)と、
前記アドバンスチャンバ(3)と流体連通するアドバンス通路(33)に通じる穴(62)、および前記外側シャフト(2)内の環状体(52a)と流体連通しかつアドバンス導入ライン通路(52)と流体連通する前記内側シャフトの穴(56)と流体連通する、外面の溝(60)と、
を備える、請求項2に記載のカムシャフトアセンブリ。 - 前記複数の通路(22、24、26、28、52、54)が、アドバンス導入通路(24、52)、アドバンスベント通路(22)、リタード導入通路(26、54)およびリタードベント通路(28)から構成される、請求項1に記載のカムシャフトアセンブリ。
- 前記アドバンス導入通路(24)およびリタード導入通路(26)が各々、チェックバルブ(30、32)を有する、請求項6に記載のカムシャフトアセンブリ。
- 長さに沿ってスロットを備えた中空外側シャフト(2)を備え、
前記少なくとも1つのカムローブが、前記外側シャフト(2)に固定された第1カムローブセットであり、
前記少なくとも1つの他のカムローブが、穴を画定する第2カムローブセットであって、前記穴が前記外側シャフト(2)の前記スロットの上に整列するように隙間嵌めで前記外側シャフト(2)上に配置される第2カムローブセット、および前記第2カムローブセットを前記内側シャフト(4)に固定すると同時に、前記第2カムローブセットが前記外側シャフト(2)に隙間嵌めされるのを可能にする手段である、
請求項1に記載のカムシャフトアセンブリ。 - 前記少なくとも1つのカムローブが前記外側シャフト(2)に直接装着され、前記少なくとも1つの他のカムローブが前記内側シャフト(4)に直接装着される、請求項1に記載のカムシャフトアセンブリ。
