Description
本発明は、懸濁物(suspension)を多孔質体、具体的にはモノリスハニカム体(monolithic honeycomb body)に含浸させる方法に関し、およびそれを使用する装置に関する。
ディーゼル型内燃機関の排ガスは一般に、大気中に排出される微粒子またはススを含み、そのような排出は、人間の健康に害を及ぼす。このガスは、酸化炭素CO、酸化窒素NOx(一酸化窒素NOおよび二酸化窒素NO2)、および未燃焼炭化水素などの他の汚染物質も含有し、それらは処理されずに大気中に排出され、したがってやはり健康に害がある。
したがって、本発明は、微粒子を少なくとも一部含有する懸濁物を多孔質体に含浸させる方法であって、この多孔質体が、この多孔質体の面のうちの一方からこの多孔質体の他方の面まで延在する多孔質壁によって画定される多数の流路を備え、この流路のうちの一部が一方の面で塞がれ、流路のうちの他方の一部が他方の面で塞がれる、多孔質体に含浸させる方法において、
− 懸濁物を製作することであって、懸濁物の粒径(または粒度)分布が、DV90/D細孔の比0.25未満を満たし、および懸濁物の粘度が、微粒子の一部を壁の細孔の表面上に堆積しつつこの懸濁物が壁の内部に運ばれるようなものである懸濁物を作製することと、
− 多孔質体(14)の面のうちの一方(18、20)を、懸濁物を含む囲い(30)と連通することと、
− 懸濁物を多孔質体の中に供給することと、
− この懸濁物が壁を通って流れるように取り入れられる懸濁物に力をかけることと、
− 壁を介して流体を通過させることと
であることを特徴とする、多孔質体に含浸させる方法に関する。

12%BaO、18%CeO2、13%ZrO2、57%Al2O3(質量%)の配合の触媒担体が、対応する硝酸塩の共沈によって調製された。乾物含量30%である水性懸濁物が、この触媒を用いて調製された。粒径は、0.19のDV90/D細孔の比を得るように当業者に知られている手法によって調整された。
ゾルは、本発明による方法の例におけるのと同じ触媒の配合を得るために必要とされる濃度でCeCl2塩、ZrOCl2塩、Ba(NO3)2塩、およびベーマイトを混ぜることによって調製された。

多孔質体(14)の前記面のうちの一方(18、20)を、前記懸濁物を含む囲い(30)と連通することと、
前記懸濁物を前記多孔質体の中に供給することと、
前記懸濁物が前記壁を通って流れるように取り入れられる前記懸濁物に力をかけることと、
前記壁を介して流体を通過させることと
を含むことを特徴とする、多孔質体(14)に含浸させる方法。 - 前記方法が、取り入れられる前記懸濁物に圧力をかけることを含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の多孔質体に含浸させる方法。
- 前記方法が、取り入れられる前記懸濁物に負圧をかけることを含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の多孔質体に含浸させる方法。
- 前記方法が、前記流体としてガスを用いることを含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の多孔質体に含浸させる方法。
- 前記方法が、前記流体として不活性ガスを用いることを含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の多孔質体に含浸させる方法。
- 前記方法が、前記多孔質体の中で少なくとも別の懸濁物の含浸を実行することを含むことを特徴とする、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の多孔質体に含浸させる方法。
- 前記方法が、少なくとも別の含浸を実行するように多孔質体(14)をひっくり返すことを含むことを特徴とする、請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載の多孔質体に含浸させる方法。
- 前記方法が、前記多孔質体の他方の面(20、18)を捕集基部(60)と連通することを含むことを特徴とする、請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載の多孔質体に含浸させる方法。
- 前記方法が、捕集基部(60)を懸濁物および/または流体回収デバイス(70)に接続することを含むことを特徴とする、請求項8に記載の多孔質体に含浸させる方法。
- 前記方法が、多孔質体(14)をシールされた外装(56)中に置くことを含むことを特徴とする、請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載の多孔質体に含浸させる方法。
- 前記方法が、含浸後に前記多孔質体を乾燥および焼成することを含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の多孔質体に含浸させる方法。
- 排ガス中に含有される少なくとも1つの汚染物質を処理するための、請求項1から11のいずれか一項に記載の方法によって含浸させられた多孔質体の使用。
- 液体流の濾過のための、請求項1から11のいずれか一項に記載の方法によって含浸させられた多孔質体の使用。
- 請求項1〜11のいずれかに記載の方法によって多孔質体(14)を含浸するための装置であって、微粒子を少なくとも一部有する含浸の懸濁物(12)を含む囲い(30)を備え、前記囲いが前記多孔質体の面のうちの一方(18)と連通する、多孔質体(14)の含浸用の装置において、前記囲いを加圧するデバイス(46、50)を備え、
前記デバイスが、前記懸濁物を前記多孔質体の中に供給し、前記懸濁物が前記壁を通って流れるように取り入れられる前記懸濁物に力をかけるよう構成され、かつ、前記壁を介して流体を通過させるよう構成された
ことを特徴とする、多孔質体(14)の含浸用の装置。 - 多孔質体(14)を受けることを目的としたシールされた外装(56)を備えることを特徴とする、請求項14に記載の多孔質体含浸装置。
- 前記外装と前記多孔質体の間にシール用膜を備えることを特徴とする、請求項15に記載の多孔質体含浸装置。
- 前記膜が、拡大できる膜であることを特徴とする、請求項16に記載の多孔質体含浸装置。
- 前記膜が、膨らますことができる膜であることを特徴とする、請求項17に記載の多孔質体含浸装置。
- 捕集基部(60)を備えることを特徴とする、請求項14から18のいずれか一項に記載の多孔質体含浸装置。
- 捕集基部(60)が、懸濁物排出手段を備えることを特徴とする、請求項19に記載の多孔質体含浸装置。
