Description
特に、アルミニウムラミネートシート等の外蔵部材として用いるパウチ型電池は、軽量で、製造費用が低く、且つ形状変形が容易であるというメリットを有しており、それ故最近関心が高まっている。
このような冷媒流露に空気を流動(「空冷式」)させて電池セルの加熱を防止しているが、十分な放熱効果が得られないのが現状である。
冷媒の流動抵抗が大きくなり、かえって冷却効率性が低下し、これによって大きさ増加対比放熱効率が落ち、電池モジュールの全体の大きさが大きくなるので好ましくない。

Claims (24)
- 多数の板状電池セルがモジュールケースに内蔵されて順次に積層されている電池モジュールであって、
前記板状電池セルのそれぞれが、樹脂層と金属層とを含むラミネートシートからなる電池ケースに内蔵された陽極/セパレータ/陰極構造の電極組み立て体を含み、
放熱部材が前記各板状電池セルの界面に配置され、前記板状電池セルの充放電の際、前記板状電池セルから発生した熱が前記放熱部材を通じて熱伝導によって除去され、
前記板状電池セルのそれぞれは、フレーム構造の電池カートリッジ内部に装着され、
前記電池カートリッジは、対応する前記板状電池セルの少なくとも一主面が開放された状態で該対応する前記板状電池セルの外周面を固定する少なくとも一対の板状のフレームを含み、
前記フレームの外面には前記放熱部材が対応する前記板状電池セルの開放された主面に密着された状態で固定されるための弾性加圧部材が設けられている、
