Claims (4)
- 複数の表示ラインを有する画面に、立体視画像を構成する左目用および右目用の画像を交互に繰り返し表示する画像表示装置であって、
前記複数の表示ラインに前記画像の表示データを順次書込む書込み走査手段と、
書込まれた前記表示データに基づいて、前記複数の表示ラインを継続発光させる発光手段と、
前記複数の表示ラインの継続発光開始のタイミングを制御する発光タイミング制御手段と、
左右の目の視界を交互に遮蔽可能な眼鏡の遮蔽状態の切り替えタイミングを制御する遮蔽タイミング制御手段と、を有し、
前記書込み走査手段は、
前記眼鏡の前記遮蔽状態が切り替わる区間に前記複数の表示ラインの内少なくとも一部に前記画像の表示データを書込み、
前記発光タイミング制御手段は、
前記眼鏡の前記遮蔽状態が切り替わる区間には前記複数の表示ラインを継続発光させず、前記複数の表示ラインのうち所定の表示ラインを除いた他の表示ラインの発光を同時とし、前記所定の表示ラインの発光を前記他の表示ラインよりも遅らせ、かつ、前記所定の表示ラインを前記立体視画像のフレームごとに異なる表示ラインとするように、前記複数の表示ラインの継続発光開始のタイミングを制御し、
前記複数の表示ラインの少なくともいずれかが継続発光を開始してから前記複数の表示ライン全ての継続発光が開始するまでに要する時間は、前記複数の表示ラインへの前記表示データの書込み走査に要する時間よりも短い、
画像表示装置。 - 複数の表示ラインを有する画面に、立体視画像を構成する左目用および右目用の画像を交互に繰り返し表示する画像表示装置で用いられる画像表示方法であって、
左右の目の視界を交互に遮蔽可能な眼鏡の遮蔽状態の切り替えを開始させる遮蔽切替開始ステップと、
前記複数の表示ラインへの前記画像の表示データの順次書込みを開始する書込み走査開始ステップと、
書込まれた前記表示データに基づいた前記複数の表示ラインの継続発光を開始させる発光開始ステップと、を有し、
前記書込み開始走査開始ステップは、
前記眼鏡の前記遮蔽状態が切り替わる区間に前記複数の表示ラインの内少なくとも一部に対する前記画像の表示データの書込みを開始し、
前記発光開始ステップは、
前記眼鏡の前記遮蔽状態が切り替わる区間には前記複数の表示ラインを継続発光させず、前記複数の表示ラインのうち所定の表示ラインを除いた他の表示ラインの発光を同時とし、前記所定の表示ラインの発光を前記他の表示ラインよりも遅らせ、かつ、前記所定の表示ラインを前記立体視画像のフレームごとに異なる表示ラインとするように、前記複数の表示ラインの継続発光を開始させ、
前記複数の表示ラインの少なくともいずれかが継続発光を開始してから前記複数の表示ライン全ての継続発光が開始するまでに要する時間は、前記複数の表示ラインへの前記表示データの書込み走査に要する時間よりも短い、
画像表示方法。 - 複数の表示ラインを有する画面に左目用および右目用の画像を交互に繰り返し表示し、遮蔽状態の切り替えタイミングを制御する遮蔽タイミング制御手段により左右の目の視界を交互に遮蔽可能な眼鏡を用いて、前記画面に表示される左目用および右目用の画像を見ることにより立体視画像を見ることが可能な画像表示装置であって、
前記表示ライン毎に設けられた書込線を駆動し、前記眼鏡の前記遮蔽状態の切り替えタイミングに対応させて前記複数の表示ラインに前記画像の表示データを順次書込む書込み走査手段と、
書込まれた前記表示データに基づいて、前記複数の表示ラインを継続発光させる発光手段と、
前記表示ライン毎に設けられた発光制御線を駆動し、前記複数の表示ラインの継続発光開始のタイミングを制御する発光タイミング制御手段と、を有し、
前記発光タイミング制御手段は、
前記眼鏡の前記遮蔽状態が切り替わる区間には前記複数の表示ラインを継続発光させず、前記複数の表示ラインのうち所定の表示ラインを除いた他の表示ラインの発光を同時とし、前記所定の表示ラインの発光を前記他の表示ラインよりも遅らせ、かつ、前記所定の表示ラインを前記立体視画像のフレームごとに異なる表示ラインとするように、前記複数の表示ラインの継続発光開始のタイミングを制御し、
前記複数の表示ラインの少なくともいずれかが継続発光を開始してから前記複数の表示ライン全ての継続発光が開始するまでに要する時間は、前記複数の表示ラインへの前記表示データの書込み走査に要する時間よりも短い、
画像表示装置。 - 複数の表示ラインを有する画面に左目用および右目用の画像を交互に繰り返し表示し、遮蔽状態の切り替えタイミングを制御する遮蔽タイミング制御手段により左右の目の視界を交互に遮蔽可能な眼鏡を用いて、前記画面に表示される左目用および右目用の画像を見ることにより立体視画像を見ることが可能な画像表示方法であって、
前記表示ライン毎に設けられた書込線を駆動し、前記眼鏡の前記遮蔽状態の切り替えタイミングに対応させて前記複数の表示ラインへの前記画像の表示データの順次書込みを開始する書込み走査開始ステップと、
前記表示ライン毎に設けられた発光制御線を駆動し、書込まれた前記表示データに基づいた前記複数の表示ラインの継続発光を開始させる発光開始ステップと、を有し、
前記発光開始ステップは、
前記眼鏡の前記遮蔽状態が切り替わる区間には前記複数の表示ラインを継続発光させず、前記複数の表示ラインのうち所定の表示ラインを除いた他の表示ラインの発光を同時とし、前記所定の表示ラインの発光を前記他の表示ラインよりも遅らせ、かつ、前記所定の表示ラインを前記立体視画像のフレームごとに異なる表示ラインとするように、前記複数の表示ラインの継続発光を開始させ、
前記複数の表示ラインの少なくともいずれかが継続発光を開始してから前記複数の表示ライン全ての継続発光が開始するまでに要する時間は、前記複数の表示ラインへの前記表示データの書込み走査に要する時間よりも短い、
