Abstract
【解決手段】 レンズ2とシールされているハウジング3の内部に収容されたLED光源11と、LED光源11が放射する光を反射する反射板12と、LED光源11と当接する集熱部材13と、反射板12の背面側に配置されたヒートシンク16と、集熱部材13とヒートシンク16とを熱交換可能に接続する二本のヒートパイプ14,15とを備えた車両用ヘッドライト1の冷却装置100において、ヒートシンク16はハウジング3の内部に収容されている。

Claims (4)
- レンズとシールされているハウジングの内部に収容されたLED光源と、前記LED光源が放射する光を反射する反射部材と、前記反射部材の背面側に配置されたヒートシンクとを備え、前記LED光源が発光する際に生じる熱を内部に作動液が封入されているヒートパイプによって前記ハウジングの内部に収容されている前記ヒートシンクに輸送するように構成された車両用ヘッドライトの冷却装置において、
略長方体形状に形成された外表面のうち前記LED光源よりも大きい面上に前記LED光源が設けられた集熱部材としてベーパチャンバを備え、
前記ヒートシンクは、前記反射部材の背面側全体を覆う形状に形成されたフィン基板と、前記フィン基板から前記反射部材側とは反対側に突出するとともに上下方向に延びるように形成されて下方部分の表面積が上方部分の表面積よりも小さく形成された複数のフィンとを有するとともに、前記反射部材および前記ベーパチャンバとは離隔して当該反射部材の背面側に配置され、
前記ヒートパイプは、前記ベーパチャンバの長辺側の側面のうち前方側の側面に沿わせて面接触する一方の端部側と前記複数のフィンにおける前記上方部分に面接触する他方の端部側とを有する第1ヒートパイプと、前記ベーパチャンバの長辺側の側面のうち後方側の側面に沿わせて面接触する一方の端部側と前記複数のフィンにおける前記下方部分に面接触する他方の端部側とを有する第2ヒートパイプとを含み、
前記ハウジング内では前記反射部材が前記ベーパチャンバおよび前記各ヒートパイプとは離隔して設置されていることを特徴とする車両用ヘッドライトの冷却装置。 - 前記ベーパチャンバは、密閉された容器構造に形成され、かつ内部に作動液が封入されているとともに毛細管力を生じるウィックが設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の車両用ヘッドライトの冷却装置。
- 前記LED光源の表面に直接気流を衝突させて衝突冷却するピエゾファンをさらに備え、
前記ピエゾファンは、前記ハウジングの内部に収容されており、前記LED光源から発生された光が前記反射部材に入射することを遮らない位置に設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の車両用ヘッドライトの冷却装置。 - 前記第1ヒートパイプおよび第2ヒートパイプはそれぞれ、枝分かれ形状に形成され、前記一方の端部側と前記他方の端部側と前記ハウジングの内面と面接触する第3の端部側とを備え、前記一方の端部側は蒸発部となり前記他方および前記第3の端部側が凝縮部となるように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれかに記載の車両用ヘッドライトの冷却装置。
