Claims (16)
- 第1電極、第2電極および前記第1電極と前記第2電極との間のセパレータを含む電極組立体;
前記電極組立体を収容するケース;
前記ケースの開口を覆うキャッププレート;および
前記キャッププレートの前記電極組立体とは反対側の面上に設置され、前記第1電極と電気的に連結する第1端子と、前記第2電極と電気的に連結する第2端子とを短絡させることができる外部短絡部を含み、
前記外部短絡部は、
前記キャッププレートの前記電極組立体とは反対側の前記面上に設置されるカバー;
前記カバーの上に位置して前記カバーに結合される端子板;
前記キャッププレートと前記カバーとの間に設置される連結タブ;および
前記キャッププレートと前記連結タブとの間に設置される絶縁部材を含み、
前記絶縁部材、前記連結タブ、前記カバーおよび前記端子板は、前記キャッププレートに順次に積層され、
前記連結タブ及び前記端子板は前記第1端子に電気的に連結され、
前記第2端子と電気的に連結する可変プレートがキャッププレートに設置され、前記可変プレートは、前記絶縁部材に形成された開口部を通じて突出して、2次電池の内部圧力が設定圧力を超えた場合に、前記連結タブと接触する結果、前記第1端子と前記第2端子とを短絡させるものである、
2次電池。 - 前記カバーは、カバー本体、および前記カバー本体の終端で突出する少なくとも一つの結合突起を含む、請求項1に記載の2次電池。
- 前記端子板は、前記連結タブに対向する面に形成された少なくとも一つの結合溝を含み、
前記少なくとも一つの結合溝は、前記少なくとも一つの結合突起を収容する、請求項2に記載の2次電池。 - 前記少なくとも一つの結合突起は、前記カバー本体の前記終端で突出する一対の結合突起を含む、請求項2に記載の2次電池。
- 前記少なくとも一つの結合突起は、前記カバー本体の前記終端の中央部分で伸びる、請求項2に記載の2次電池。
- 前記少なくとも一つの結合突起は、第1端子を収容する開口を含み、前記第1端子は前記第1電極に電気的に連結される、請求項5に記載の2次電池。
- 前記少なくとも一つの結合突起の長さは、前記端子板の長さよりも短い、請求項5に記載の2次電池。
- 前記連結タブに向かって伸びる前記少なくとも一つの結合突起の厚さは、前記カバー本体の厚さよりも薄い、請求項2に記載の2次電池。
- 前記絶縁部材は、前記連結タブ、前記カバーおよび前記端子板を囲む側壁を含む、請求項1に記載の2次電池。
- 前記絶縁部材は開口を含み、前記連結タブは開口を含み、前記端子板は開口を含み、第1端子は前記絶縁部材の前記開口に収容され、前記連結タブ、前記端子板および前記第1端子は前記第1電極に電気的に連結される、請求項1に記載の2次電池。
- 前記絶縁部材は、前記キャッププレートと接触する第1側面と前記第1側面の反対側に位置して前記絶縁部材の第2側面で伸びる突起を含む、請求項1に記載の2次電池。
- 前記連結タブは、前記絶縁部材の前記突起が収容される開口を含む、請求項11に記載の2次電池。
- 前記端子板は、前記絶縁部材の前記突起が収容される溝を含む、請求項12に記載の2次電池。
- 前記可変プレートの周辺部は前記キャッププレートに付着され、前記周辺部内側の前記可変プレートの内側部は前記キャッププレートの開口と対向するように整列される、請求項1に記載の2次電池。
- 前記ケースの外部に突出し、前記キャッププレートと前記第2電極と電気的に連結される端子をさらに含み、
前記第1電極と前記第2電極は、前記可変プレートが前記連結タブと接触する場合に、前記キャッププレートと前記端子を通じて短絡する、
請求項14に記載の2次電池。 - 前記カバーは、電気的に絶縁性である物質を含む、請求項1に記載の2次電池。
