Claims (10)
- 第1電極、第2電極、および前記第1電極と前記第2電極の間に介在したセパレータを含む電極組立体;
前記電極組立体を内蔵するケース;および
前記ケースに連結してキャッププレートおよび前記キャッププレートに連結する短絡部材を含むキャップ組立体;
を含み、
前記短絡部材の中心領域に形成される一部分の厚さが前記短絡部材の残りの部分の厚さより厚くなるように形成され、
前記短絡部材は、前記ケースの内部圧力が増加すると、前記ケースの外側に向かって湾曲するよう変形し、前記第1電極と前記第2電極が電気的に連結させ、
前記短絡部材は前記短絡部材の中心領域に形成される突出部を含み、前記突出部は前記短絡部材の少なくとも他の一部分よりも厚さが厚く、
前記短絡部材は、前記キャッププレートと電気的に連結し、
前記キャップ組立体は前記ケースの外部において前記キャッププレート上に位置する短絡タップをさらに含み、前記短絡タップは前記第1電極と電気的に連結し、
前記短絡部材は、前記ケースの内部圧力が増加すると、前記ケースの外側に向かって湾曲するよう変形し、前記短絡タップと接触し、
前記短絡部材が変形するとき、前記短絡部材において厚さが最も厚い部分が前記短絡タップと接触する、二次電池。 - 前記キャップ組立体は、前記短絡タップと前記キャッププレートを電気的に絶縁するために前記短絡タップと前記キャッププレートの間に介在する絶縁部材をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の二次電池。
- 前記キャップ組立体は、前記第1電極と電気的に連結して前記キャッププレート上に設置される第1端子と、前記第1端子と前記キャッププレートを絶縁するガスケットをさらに含み、
前記短絡タップは開口を有し、前記第1端子は前記開口を介して前記ケースの内部から前記ケースの外部に突出する、請求項1または2に記載の二次電池。 - 前記短絡タップは、前記第1端子にナットで組み立てられて前記キャッププレートに固定する、請求項3に記載の二次電池。
- 前記第2電極は、前記キャッププレートに電気的に連結する、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の二次電池。
- 前記キャップ組立体は、前記第2電極と前記キャッププレートを電気的に連結する第2端子をさらに含む、請求項5に記載の二次電池。
- 前記キャップ組立体は、前記第2端子と前記キャッププレートを電気的に連結する連結板をさらに含む、請求項6に記載の二次電池。
- 前記短絡部材は、前記ケースの内側に向かって湾曲して突出する、請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載の二次電池。
- 前記キャップ組立体は、ベントホールと、前記ベントホールを覆うように前記キャッププレート上に設置されるベントプレートとをさらに含む、請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の二次電池。
- 前記ベントプレートは、前記ケースの内部圧力の増加によって開口するノッチを有する、請求項9に記載の二次電池。
