Claims (4)
- CaO、SiO2、Al2O3、Fe 2 O 3 、MgO、MnO、BaO、B 2 O 3 のうちの2種以上を基材として含有し、且つ、フッ化物及び/またはアルカリ金属酸化物を含有し、更に0.5質量%以上10質量%以下のCr2O3を含有する鋼の連続鋳造用モールドパウダーであって、前記基材はプリメルトされたものであり、前記Cr 2 O 3 は前記基材とプリメルトせず、プリメルトされた基材に混合したものであって、当該モールドパウダーが鋳型内に添加されて溶融した際には前記Cr2O3が懸濁粒子として溶融状態のモールドパウダー中に存在し、これによって当該モールドパウダーが溶融状態で非ニュートン流体化されることを特徴とする、鋼の連続鋳造用モールドパウダー。
- 前記モールドパウダーの1300℃における、剪断速度が10(1/秒)のときの粘度と剪断速度が120(1/秒)のときの粘度との差が、0.15Pa・s以上であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の鋼の連続鋳造用モールドパウダー。
- 前記モールドパウダーを液相線温度以上の温度で溶融させて一定時間保持した後に平板上で急冷凝固させたときのモールドパウダーの表面粗度が、Cr2O3を含有せずにその他の組成の構成比が同一であるモールドパウダーの表面粗度に比べて1.1倍以上であることを特徴とする、請求項1または請求項2に記載の鋼の連続鋳造用モールドパウダー。
- 請求項1ないし請求項3の何れか1つに記載の鋼の連続鋳造用モールドパウダーを用いて、1.4m/min以上の鋳造速度でスラブ鋳片を鋳造することを特徴とする、鋼の連続鋳造方法。
