Description
本実施形態に係る電気光学装置について図1から図12を参照して説明する。尚、以下の実施形態では、本発明の電気光学装置の一例として駆動回路内蔵型のTFTアクティブマトリクス駆動方式の液晶装置を挙げて説明する。
次に、上述した電気光学装置である液晶装置を各種の電子機器に適用する場合について説明する。ここに図13は、プロジェクターの構成例を示す平面図である。以下では、この液晶装置をライトバルブとして用いたプロジェクターについて説明する。
Claims (4)
- 第1方向及び前記第1方向と交わる第2方向に沿って配列された複数の画素電極と、
前記第1方向に並んで配列された前記複数の画素電極の一の列における第1画素電極群及び第2画素電極群に画像信号を夫々供給すると共に、前記第1方向に延在する第1データ線及び第2データ線の対が列ごとに設けられた複数のデータ線対で構成されたデータ線ブロックと、
前記複数のデータ線対の一端から、前記データ線ブロックを構成する前記データ線対毎に画像信号を時系列的に順次供給する画像信号供給手段と、
前記複数のデータ線対の他端から、前記データ線ブロック毎に、且つ前記第1データ線及び前記第2データ線の各々に対して別々に、検査電圧を供給する検査電圧供給手段と、を備え、
前記検査電圧供給手段は、第1制御信号及び第2制御信号を夫々供給する制御信号供給手段を備え、前記第1制御信号に基づいて前記第1データ線に前記検査電圧を供給し、前記第2制御信号に基づいて前記第2データ線に前記検査電圧を供給する
ことを特徴とする電気光学装置。 - 前記第2制御信号は、前記第1制御信号の位相を反転させた反転信号であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電気光学装置。
- 前記検査電圧供給手段は、シフトレジスタを有していることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の電気光学装置。
- 請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の電気光学装置を具備してなることを特徴とする電子機器。
