c)エタノール、1−プロパノール、及び2−プロパノールから選択される、3〜12重量%のアルコールと、を含む、方法を目的とする。
a)1.80〜1.96のアミン部分に対する脂肪酸部分のモル比、16〜18個の炭素原子の脂肪酸部分の平均鎖長、及び0〜50の遊離脂肪酸に対して計算されるヨウ素価を有する、78〜95重量%のビス−(2−ヒドロキシエチル)−メチルアミン脂肪酸エステルと、10〜14個の炭素原子の脂肪酸部分の平均鎖長、及び0〜15の遊離脂肪酸に対して計算されるヨウ素価を有する、2〜9重量%の脂肪酸トリグリセリドと、3〜12重量%の、エタノール、1−プロパノール、及び2−プロパノールから選択されるアルコールと、を含む混合物を、60〜120℃の温度の過剰の塩化メチルと反応させて、反応混合物を提供する工程と、
b)塩化メチルと前記アルコールとの混合物を蒸留することによって、未反応塩化メチルを、工程a)の反応混合物から分離し、塩化メチルとアルコールとの前記混合物からアルコールを濃縮し、濃縮されたアルコールを前記反応混合物に戻して、3〜12重量%のアルコール含有量を提供する工程と、を含む、方法を目的とする。
a)1.80〜1.96のアミン部分に対する脂肪酸部分のモル比、16〜18個の炭素原子の脂肪酸部分の平均鎖長、及び0〜50の遊離脂肪酸に対して計算されるヨウ素価を有する、88〜98重量%のビス−(2−ヒドロキシエチル)−メチルアミン脂肪酸エステルと、10〜14個の炭素原子の脂肪酸部分の平均鎖長、及び0〜15の遊離脂肪酸に対して計算されるヨウ素価を有する、2〜9重量%の脂肪酸トリグリセリドと、0〜3重量%の、エタノール、1−プロパノール、及び2−プロパノールから選択されるアルコールと、を含む混合物を、60〜120℃の温度の過剰の塩化メチルと反応させて、反応混合物を提供する工程と、
b)より多くのアルコールを、工程a)の反応混合物に添加して、3〜12重量%のアルコール含有量を提供する工程と、
c)塩化メチルと前記アルコールとの混合物を蒸留することによって、未反応塩化メチルを工程b)の混合物から分離し、塩化メチルとアルコールとの前記混合物からアルコールを濃縮し、濃縮されたアルコールを前記反応混合物に戻して、3〜12重量%のアルコール含有量を提供する工程と、を含む、方法を目的とする。
柔軟仕上げ剤組成物は、典型的に、組成物の重量で、1%〜49%、代替として2%〜25%、代替として3%〜20%、代替として5%〜17%、代替としてこれらの組み合わせのビス−(2−ヒドロキシエチル)−ジメチルアンモニウムクロリド脂肪酸エステルを有する。
本発明の組成物に添加され得る補助剤成分 成分としては、泡抑制剤、好ましくは、シリコーン泡抑制剤(米国特許第2003/0060390 A1号、65−77段落)、カチオン性デンプン(米国特許第2004/0204337 A1号、同第2007/0219111 A1号)、スカム分散剤(米国特許第2003/0126282 A1号、89〜90段落)、香料及び香料マイクロカプセル(米国特許第5,137,646号)、非イオン性界面活性剤、非水性溶媒、脂肪酸、染料、防腐剤、光学的光沢剤、消泡剤、並びにこれらの組み合わせが挙げられ得る。
b 商標名HYLON VII(登録商標)の下でNational Starchより入手可能なカチオン性高アミローストウモロコシデンプン。
c 例えばCibaからのRheovis CDE。
d 例えばAppletonから入手可能な香料マイクロカプセル。
e ジエチレントリアミンペンタ酢酸。

Claims (10)
- 柔軟仕上げ剤組成物の重量で、1%〜49%のビス−(2−ヒドロキシエチル)−ジメチルアンモニウムクロリド脂肪酸エステルを含む、柔軟仕上げ剤組成物を作製する方法であって、水と柔軟仕上げ剤活性組成物(FSAC)を混合する工程を含み、前記FSACは、
(i)1.80〜1.96のアミン部分に対する脂肪酸部分のモル比、16〜18個の炭素原子の前記脂肪酸部分の平均鎖長、及び0〜50の遊離脂肪酸に対して計算されるヨウ素価を有する、前記FSACの65〜95重量%のビス−(2−ヒドロキシエチル)−ジメチルアンモニウムクロリド脂肪酸エステルと、
(ii)10〜14個の炭素原子の前記脂肪酸部分の平均鎖長、及び0〜15の遊離脂肪酸に対して計算されるヨウ素価を有する、前記FSACの2〜8重量%の脂肪酸トリグリセリドと、
(iii)エタノール、1−プロパノール、及び2−プロパノールから選択される、前記FSACの3〜12重量%のアルコールと、を含み、
前記柔軟仕上げ剤組成物の重量で、1%〜49%のビス−(2−ヒドロキシエチル)−ジメチルアンモニウムクロリド脂肪酸エステルを有する、前記柔軟仕上げ剤組成物を形成する、方法。 - 前記FSACが、3〜6重量%の前記脂肪酸トリグリセリドと、6〜10重量%の前記アルコールとを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記FSACにおける、前記脂肪酸トリグリセリドと前記アルコールとを合わせた量が、前記FSACの10〜15重量%である、請求項1又は2に記載の方法。
- 前記FSACの前記脂肪酸トリグリセリドが、ココヤシ油又は水素化ココヤシ油である、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- ビス−(2−ヒドロキシエチル)−ジメチルアンモニウムクロリド脂肪酸エステルの前記脂肪酸部分が、15〜35の遊離脂肪酸に対して計算されるヨウ素価を有する、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- ビス−(2−ヒドロキシエチル)−ジメチルアンモニウムクロリド脂肪酸エステルの前記脂肪酸部分が、18〜22の遊離脂肪酸に対して計算されるヨウ素価を有する、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- a)1.80〜1.96のアミン部分に対する脂肪酸部分のモル比、16〜18個の炭素原子の前記脂肪酸部分の平均鎖長、及び0〜50の遊離脂肪酸に対して計算されるヨウ素価を有する、78〜95重量%のビス−(2−ヒドロキシエチル)−メチルアミン脂肪酸エステルと、10〜14個の炭素原子の前記脂肪酸部分の平均鎖長、及び0〜15の遊離脂肪酸に対して計算されるヨウ素価を有する、2〜9重量%の脂肪酸トリグリセリドと、3〜13重量%の、エタノール、1−プロパノール、及び2−プロパノールから選択されるアルコールと、を含む混合物を、60〜120℃の温度の過剰の塩化メチルと反応させて、反応混合物を提供する工程と、
b)塩化メチルと前記アルコールとの混合物を蒸留することによって、未反応塩化メチルを工程a)の前記反応混合物から分離し、塩化メチルとアルコールとの前記混合物からアルコールを濃縮し、濃縮されたアルコールを前記反応混合物に戻して、3〜12重量%のアルコール含有量を提供する工程と、を更に含む、請求項1に記載の方法。 - a)1.80〜1.96のアミン部分に対する脂肪酸部分のモル比、16〜18個の炭素原子の前記脂肪酸部分の平均鎖長、及び0〜50の遊離脂肪酸に対して計算されるヨウ素価を有する、88〜98重量%のビス−(2−ヒドロキシエチル)−メチルアミン脂肪酸エステルと、10〜14個の炭素原子の前記脂肪酸部分の平均鎖長、及び0〜15の遊離脂肪酸に対して計算されるヨウ素価を有する、2〜9重量%の脂肪酸トリグリセリドと、0〜3重量%の、エタノール、1−プロパノール、及び2−プロパノールから選択されるアルコールと、を含む混合物を、60〜120℃の温度の過剰の塩化メチルと反応させて、反応混合物を提供する工程と、
b)より多くの前記アルコールを、工程a)の前記反応混合物に添加して、3〜12重量%のアルコール含有量を提供する工程と、
c)塩化メチルと前記アルコールとの混合物を蒸留することによって、未反応塩化メチルを工程b)の前記混合物から分離し、塩化メチルとアルコールとの前記混合物からアルコールを濃縮し、濃縮されたアルコールを前記反応混合物に戻して、3〜12重量%のアルコール含有量を提供する工程と、を更に含む、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 塩化メチルとアルコールとの前記混合物が、20〜100kPa(0.2〜1バール)の総圧力で蒸留される、請求項7又は8に記載の方法。
- 香料を添加する工程を更に含む、請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
